Would RecommendVery easy to use and works like a charm. Can actually break up some pretty large pieces of wood - just need to reposition to wood to come at it from several angles to get a first break.
almost a perfect product!
this thing is an animal! I split a 16" log and got 8 pieces out of it. the only things i would change are, a step plate behind the hydraulic end, wider legs for less wobble and a wider cradle. other than that, perfect!

Does what it is supposed to do
Works as stated. It is fine for lengths of logs stated but if you are splitting logs 1/2 the size you will need boards or something to stick between the log and the ram due to the short stroke. One thing that I found is, the left handle is for longer strokes and the right handle is for shorter strokes. Other than that, I am happy with it and works great.

Product works as advertised. Split some very knotty, big maple pieces. Have a few issues. Instructions on oil adding procedure not very good in the instruction manual. Wasted oil trying to pour down the small filler hole. The rubber oil plug needs to be upgraded to a larger metal plug that screws in.

Would Recommend57 yr old woman and I have no problem using this splitter!!..I use it to split wood into kindling size pieces.. Only thing I would recommend when using it, is not to have small children or your pets near the sides of it when splitting very dry wood or as I use it, to split smaller logs into kindling, sometimes when it splits the wood flies to the sides Off the catching area.. Works Great though!!!

Great Product
Very impressed with this log splitter. Splits logs perfectly with little effort. Love the fact that it requires no cords or gas. The only issue is if the logs are too long it won’t fit in the base. Other than that, this is a well designed product that does the job with ease.

Outstanding product
Bought my first one a few weeks ago.....so pleased with its operation that got a second one for my brother in-law. Love the fact it is manual operation (no need keep gas on hand or worry about proximity to electrical outlet) . Very easy to use. I"m 70 + and have no problems operating it.

Love it, the only thing that I have say is the plug is so hard to get out and put back, thought I would tear it taking it out and had to push the side of the plug in with a scew driver and then put a thick piece of wood on top and use a hammer to get it back in. Would like to get a few more plugs in chase I need to replace after taking it out to refill. I'm a 70 years old lady and I have split cherry oak and other kinds of hard wood with it and had no trouble doing so. can't say enough about ho...

Great alternative to expensive powered splitters
I have (had) a moderate number of large logs in my yard from dead trees that had been take down. With this log splitter, I've been able to convert them into firewood. This product isn't for anyone who wants to split logs as fast as possible or doesn't want to put any physical effort into it. I'm in no hurry, and I don't mind a little upper body exercise (I'm 60). Over a few weekends in the last couple of months, I've been able to turn dozens of logs into firewood. I've split close to a face cord...

A Great little Machine
I love my log splitter. I am a female senior who lives in a country setting. I cut down 10 old trees recently, & am splitting the logs a bit at a time. It is actually very satisfying to be able to manage it on my own. A great tool.

Great splitter
Splits logs really well. Only problem is that the logs need to be of a certain length. It's the usual length but I got a load of wood that was shorter. I took some hardwook and put it between the short wood and the splitter and it worked like a breeze
