I've used my splitter a couple times and it works just as it's designed to work. It split some wood that I wasn't able to with my splitting maul. It saved me a lot of time and effort getting some bigger pieces split.

Only one problem...
We absolutely love this splitter! It works great, is easy and was a very reasonable price. Our only problem is that now we fight over who gets to do the daily wood splitting!

Awesome splitter .
Would RecommendI ordered this splitter for larger pieces of firewood which I wanted to cut down for kindling. This is prefect I am a 55 yrs old woman and I put a 6 inch piece of wood in the holder and pulled the handle back and forth and the wood split so easily . I contuinued to split about 10 more pieces . I no longer need to buy the little bags of fat wood for kindling I just make my own now . Thank you Sun Joe for a great product.
