Would RecommendI purchased this to replace the old one that failed under my kitchen sink. There was some sewer gas smell after we would run the garbage disposal and we finally narrowed it down to the old vent. The plumber who installed the old one obviously didn't read the directions and glued it into the threads so when I tried to remove it just snapped off (Pro tip: read and follow the instructions). After removing the old valve and fitting I was able to replace it with the new one and now the sewer gas smel...
used the cheaper one and they both quit working so gases were coming into the house. as soon as we put this one on the gases stopped. hallelujah!

Would Recommendvery easy to replace the old one with the new one. I had sewage smells coming up from the previous one since it broke (it was the $6 version). I spent the extra money for this one and was super easy to take off the old one and replace it with this new one. immediately I noticed a difference. No more sewage smell! Definitely recommend this product.
