What Customers Are Saying
The Studor Mini-Vent Air Admittance Valve is a plumbing solution that helps eliminate odors and improve drainage. Many customers report it effectively solves issues like slow drains and sewer gas smells. The valve is easy to install, fits both 2-inch and 1.5-inch pipes, and provides an affordable alternative. However, some users experienced problems with the valve not working as intended, leading to continued drainage issues or even increased odors. Overall, the valve seems to be a good option when traditional venting is not feasible, but customers should be prepared to try alternative solutions if it does not fully resolve the problem.

Would Not RecommendI purchased this product to vent a washing machine so I would not have to put another hole in the roof. With the vent in place you can hear the water filling up the standpipe. Could it be that these air admittance values do not work well when water is pumped at high velocity from a washing machine? Could the...
Couple of nice features
Would RecommendThe container forms a protective box around the valve. Fitting included allows use on 2" PVC or 1-1/2 NPT.
If you need one of these, simply can't be easier
Would RecommendI had an issue with my dishes smelling of "wet dog". After trying every home remedy on the internet, I figured that my issue was probably my plumbing rather than my dishwasher. So, I find some info about this little gadget and find that if it fails, the exact same problem can occur due to the air in the drainage pipes not being properly controlled. Sure enough, a two minute unscrew the old, plumbers tape and screw in the new, three or four loads of dishes and the problem is long gone. Just cou...
Solve bathroom Venting problems
Would RecommendI had two bathroom sinks that had no venting pipe installed, I solved the problem by installing this vent between the two. I can hear some noise from the vent but not much. I can deal with that over sewer gas backing up through the drain trap.
