What Customers Are Saying

The Studor Mini-Vent Air Admittance Valve is a plumbing solution that helps eliminate odors and improve drainage. Many customers report it effectively solves issues with slow drains and sewer gas smells. The valve is easy to install and provides an affordable alternative to roof venting. However, some users experienced problems with the valve not functioning properly, leading to continued drainage issues or increased odors. Overall, the Studor valve may be a good option when traditional venting is not feasible, but customers should carefully consider their specific plumbing requirements.

Solar Panel Assist

I was able to use these to remove the vent stacks protruding through my roof. Per local code here in Florida, I kept one stack on the opposite side of the house but replaced all others with these AAV's. now the solar array will be able to be perfectly square and symmetrical without having to avoid these vents. This is a wonderful solution when you want to limit the amount of through holes in your roof and especially if you're adding solar.

Does the Job!

Would Recommend

Started smelling a foul odor in the kitchen and discovered that the Studor Mini-Vent Air Admittance Valve had failed. As far as I can tell, this valve had been under the sink for 21 years. Not Bad! I found the exact same one at Lowes for a replacement, and, if this one lasts as long as the one that was replaced, I won't ever have to replace it again. Easy screw off - screw on replacement, takes up little space, and works great! The kitchen smeels good again!
