Jamies little helper

This tape is very useful,strong and durable it is a great value along with the many other Stanley products i have ,levels,square,wood chisels. Would be a great asset to veryones tool box.

Love my 25' Fatmax

I have purchased many of these over the years. I love them for the size much more comfortable than my 30' or 35' foot tapes. You can't beat how far you can reach with a fat max. I would highly recommend this tape as a general contractor. "The Consumer Carpenter"

Tougher than most

I bought my first fat max when I was a rookie framer in the early 2000s. I thought it was an awful lot of money for a tape measure. But, I had to get used to buying professional grade tools. A few days after my purchase I was on the 4th floor on scaffolding when I dropped it. I was waiting for it to explode like every other tape I had dropped from more than 20'. Best Tape Ever!

This Fatmax tape is the best tape measure in the market! The tape is easy to read and durable. I really love how it is coated with a special protective layer, makes the tape last that much longer.

Good tape but inaccurate with detailed measurement

This tape is heavy duty, withstands drops and excellent withdraw and retract. However there is a gap between the end of the tape tab and the beginning of the tape. It’s about an 1/8 in gap. Normally this little bit doesn’t affect what I’m measuring, but I was measuring for countertops and it did make a noticeable difference.

Number and coating separate from the blade

I've been a faithful user of the Fatmax for the last 15 years. Best tape measure ever. But the quality has gone down hill. I've bought 2 in the last 4 months and the same thing happened to both. Numbers and coating separate from the blade. Don't think I'll buy another one.

Easy to Read

This Stanley tape measure is very durable, affordable, easy to use and easy to read. This is my go to tape measure, I have 2 and they have lasted over 4 years and are still in perfect shape! I definitely recommend this tape measure.

Usa made tapes

Reliably durable

Best Tape Measure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned many Stanley Fatmax Tapes, in the commercial construction world tape do not seam to last over a year or two, but with the Stanley I have been able to make them last longer. No one beats the stand out of 10 + ft. Also the Magnets from the Magnetic line of take snap on the theses as well, if you happen to snap yours.

Still the Best

STAND OUT FROM THE REST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I OWN SEVERAL OF THESE AND USE THEM DAILY IN MY JOB--IM AN ELECTRICIAN AND USE A TAPE MEASURE DAILY HOURLY AND BY THE MINUTE WHEN IM RUNNING CONDUIT. THEY STAND THE TEST OF TIME FOR SURE AS THEYRE DURABLE, EASY TO READ WITH THE BLACK ON YELLOW PRINT, AND MOST IMPORTANT THE STAND OUT OF 10-12 FEET IS FANTASTIC TO BE ABLE TO DO!!!

GOOD TAPE MEASURE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 of these and they work well. The wide blade enables me to extend the tape sufficiently in most cases, without bending, to make 1 person measurements.
