Solid tape

Great tape measure. Durable, holds shape at long distances and has a good lock. Belt hook easily hooks on to belt/ pocket.

Best Tape Measure ever!!!!

The best and the one and only tape measure I'll ever use. Nothing else compares to fat max especially the the stand out 10 plus feet before it will fall or bend.

Better than the rest

This is the only tape I've ever used since its inception in the late 1990s. As a union carpenter, im constantly taking measurements, whether it be laying out partitions, cutting drywall, or measuring studs or ceiling grid. . Fatmax tapes definitely last the longest of all the brands out there. Its the only tape you'll find in my tool bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down my favorite tape out of dozens that I have used over the years. The large display makes reading the measurements easier and quicker. The quality is great as with all Stanley tools I have owned and used. Highly recommended.

Ruined once tip gets a little bend.

Once the end hook got bent, have not gotten it bent back to accuracy. Really don’t think it should’ve bent that easy, but can not wrap my head around getting it bent back correctly. So it’s been setting in a drawer, unused, for about 2months after purchase.

Almost the perfect tape

Can't even count how many I have owned by now! My go to tape measure. Fits well in the hand, easy to read, fit the toolbelt pouch perfect. Put them through the ringer and they keep on going! Would be 5 star if the line thickness was more consistent tape to tape and the dreaded twist was fixed. Extend a twisty to far and it rolls over and make long distance reaches a pain! Other than that perfect tape!

Faithful

Really like these tapes. I've been using them and faithful to them for years as a pipefitter. But now I see alot of the Fat Max on the market are imported. Very disappointing to see that. Stanley, be faithful to America like many of your customers have been to this Made in USA product!!!
