Lesson learned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was a beginning woodworker, I would use whatever tape measure I had handy. Never gave it much thought. When I received the Fatmax as a gift, it was like starting over. Quality manufacturing, accuracy and reliability; it's the only one I use now.

Best of the Bunch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a half-dozen tape measures of all sizes and grades. The go-to one I always look for is my Stanley FATMAX 25'. It is strong, durable, and always dependable. I have confidence in using it, and I can trust what it's designed to do. I even use it to teach measuring lessons to my 4th grade class.

Great quality

I have owned my Stanley FatMax tape measure for quite a few years now and use it almost daily. It was definitely made to last because it works just as good now as it did when I first bought it. Stanley quality is top notch.

Fat max tapes are the best

Are use tape measures regularly and have been for many years and the fat max is the best. It is durable and it lasts

Best Tape Measure I Own

I got this as a gift awhile back and the thing is DURABLE. It's taken a beating and is one of the few tools that isn't made to last two months anymore. I keep saying I'm going to buy the 30' when this one goes....but it just won't quit!

Great buy

Always loved the Stanley brand and this tape measure lived up to my expectations. I use it every day at work and bring it home to use as well. It works well and retracts super fast. I highly recommend.

Sturdy and reliable!

I have had this tape measure for awhile now. It has never let me down. It has a very robust, sturdy design. I can stretch the tape measure out pretty far, unsupported, with it snapping and falling. Allows me to measure much larger items/spaces with an additional person to hold it.

Love the reach of the tape

I can measure most items without having to find help or clipping the tape to one end and walking the length of the item to mark my measurement for cutting. I just stand at the approximate area and extend the tape to the edge of the piece.

Great all around tape

Great Durability

Great all around performer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work as a timber framer, cutting frames in Oregon and raising then locally and across the country. Regardless of where I may be at you won't find me without my Fatmax tapes. I use my 25' all around my home and shop while my 30' is my go to site tool when we are doing large layouts. They just last and they're very consistent from tape to tape. Keep up the great work!

Outstanding tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several tape measures (other brands). However, my 25' Stanley Fatmax (which I have had for several years) is my go-to unit. The length it extends to without bending (around 10') is a real time and effort savings. Even after much abuse, it still is as functional as it was when I bought it. I have dropped it from a 2nd story window, ran over it with my truck, left it in the back of my truck for a few days and it rained! and I have lef...

Accurate measure over 8 feet,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When measuring over 8 feet and longer, with no 3rd hand to assist holding dummy end of tape, the fat max stays straight and delivers correct measurements first time, (no drop in tape), my boss workes with a (M) brand tape, I can see & feel the difference). I have 2 extras in shop.
