Nice home rower!

This is a nice rower that didn't break the bank too bad, but still gives me a good workout. Definitely notice in upper back and shoulders, which is good! A bit low to the ground, but I am getting used to that. I am happy with my purchase and don't regret spending the money.

Just like in the gyms

My wife and I have been wanting to start exercising again and we both always liked the rower machine so when Sports Authority had a 25 % sale we jumped at the chance to have one. We love the rower and had seen results in the 10 days we have had it and that's also missing a couple days. So hopefully this review will help somebody and also win us another rower.

Wow...I was hesitant about the product but found it to be a solid solid machine and an intense workout! Highly recommend!

Continually Impressed

Owned 2 years. Use 7 days a week unless out-of-town. Continually impressed with construction and durability. Love not having to adjust resistance level. Just change speed of rowing stroke. Row faster, the 1399 will follow your lead and provide more resistance. For less resistance, just slow down. I do 10 intervals of 3 minutes at 80% and 1 minute at 20% which equals a 40 minute workout. Unbeatable.

I got this for a cardio change up and it was worth it. It is a pretty decent work out.

Better Than Expected

I suffer from "bad" feet and was finding walking for exercise was no longer an option. I researched fitness equipment and rowing seemed to fit the bill for me. Since I didn't want to drop a ton of money on something that may not have worked for me I opted for this budget friendly rower having read great reviews on it. Well, the reviews didn't do it justice. Great budget rower

i bought this in march and its great. It works more for the arms and back. the display shows time, distance, and speed. Its light enough to move between floors. I lost the two pieces when it folds down and customer service sent them quickly and for free. Very nice

All Around Workout and Back Saver

Great workout and tracks distance, which is important to me for setting goals. I'm over 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, but this machine has held up, and keeps me fit. Currently I'm using the rower for a friendly competition with my sister-in-law.

Simply a great machine

This is an excellent rowing machine. It was simple to set up and delivers the workout you need exactly as promised.

Good but one bug issue

I bought this a few weeks ago and the first problem I noticed was that the little leg built in is obstructing the pathway for the rower to be folder easily. Once folded, with a some friction, it almost impossible to unfold unless I sit down to full the support leg near the drum a little down, thank God it has some flexibility, and then unfold it so the beam has space. The tolerance clearly wasn't done well because the little support leg has a good one to two inches of conflicting tolerance with ...

Ease

I love my rower. It was easy to put together which I did myself. Online it says you will need a 2nd person....absolutely not true.... and I am a petite woman. Yes it is a bit loud so watching the news after work I do have to turn up the volume but not very much, so again no big deal (to all those reviewers that commented on noise. Great rower for the $$

Previously I had owned an elliptical. I had used a rower in a gym loved it and preferred the workout to the elliptical. The only other cardio I do is jump rope. Great Workout

I bought this about a month ago and am happy I did. I get a good workout with it and it's easy to fold up and store out of the way. Before I bought this I used a treadmill (for about 20 years). I think I like using my rowing machine even more than the treadmill.

Good Budget Rower

I bought this about a month ago and have used it twice a week since. It is a little noisy. I have to turn up the TV by 3-4 notches to hear over the fan. I have since switch to using a bluetooth headset with the TV. The display is very basic. Hard to justify buying the fancy $1000 rowers as a beginner. That is 3 years of gym membership. I am too lazy to go to the gym. So, this is perfect for me to get a whole body workout at home. Great value for the price.

Great Workout

Hi I have practiced rowing in college and use the concept 2 machines at gym to keep me in shape. Decided to buy an affordable option to have at home. The stamina will not help you to train your rowing movements since the movement is shorter than a real boat. However, it is a great workout machine, it is intense enough to get your cardio high and burn fat. I am 6 ft and I am able to workout my legs and upper body.
