Great rower at a great price!!

My wife and I bought this a few weeks ago and are very pleased with the rower. It was very easy to put together, is very stable and provides a good workout. The quality of the materials is very good for the price we paid. The seat has been a little hard to get used to, but it may be because we have never rowed before. Easy to use!

We purchased this as an exercise alternative during the winter months. It works very well for our purposes. It would have gotten a five star rating if it had a chain rather than nylon strap.

Once we got the replacement fan/wheel assy it work

We bought it from Walmart and it arrived on time. Easy to assemble however the fan assembly was very noisy. I called customer service, didn't have to wait on hold more than 30 seconds and spoke to someone that I could understand her English. She solved my issue right away by listening to the fan and apologized and stated it was defected. We received a replacement in a few days and it was easy to swap out the defected one. Now it works perfectly. The fan does make fan noise but not bad at all.

Performs as advertised

I have now been using the Stamina ATS 1399 rower for about a month 3 or 4 times a week. I use it for aerobic exercise instead of running (too hard on my old knees). I find in 10 or 15 minutes I can get my heart rate up as high as I dare and break a good sweat. The longest I have gone is 20 minutes at a steady pace. The machine works good. Simple, compact

I will admit that I haven't used the rower very much since I bought it, but not because I don't like it. Assembly was very straight-forward. I am a small woman and was easily able to put it together with no assistance. It is lightweight, easy to move around and compact. I do wish that there were some way to adjust the resistance, but that is the nature of the Air rowers, from my understanding.

Worth the purchase

Bought this rower because of it's compact size, and I am pleased with it's performance as well! I get a great workout that I can adjust by how fast or how hard I pull. Assembling it by myself was a breeze. At first I thought the meter wasn't working correctly, so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I started rowing again and the meter kicked in and is working fine.

Sturdy Little Rower

Was very straightforward to put together. Sturdy to use. I'm fairly short (4'11") and can get full range of motion on the row. Someone tall may find it limiting. Great value for the price.

Customer Service

A day after writing a harsh review about my broken rower, I contacted Stamina's Customer Service and was pleasantly surprised to find they are sending me a new mainframe to address the problem. The representative handled the problem quickly and courteously and my confidence in Stamina has been restored.

Takes Me Away

I bought this rower about a month ago. I love this machine! It's fun while it's giving me a total body workout with cardio. The air from the wheel blows through my hair as I'm rowing and I found a relax channel on my Roku that has a sunrise mountain lake scene with lapping water. I put that on my TV and I can actually imagine rowing across the lake at sunrise! No regrets in getting this air rower! It's fantastic!

Excellant. I am a small 69 year women. With the instructions and well laid out parts, the machine was easy to assemble and ever so nifty to use. It appears small due to the design. Pretty good overall!

I bought the Stamina 1399 and was pretty easy to assemble in an hour by myself. By the way I am not the handiest person in the world. I really like it except after a week the calorie counter wasn't working. I contacted customer service and they were good. They sent me a new counter but we realized it's something in the wiring. I'm not going to send back since this will be a pain to ship back. I can live with calorie counter since I don't really trust those things to begin with! I hope the compan...

Very easy to Assemble

I bought this Rower about a month ago. I have used it pretty well everyday. I enjoy the simplicity of the machine. As I am 68 years old, I only row for 10 min. at a sitting. However, in those 10 min. I feel I am getting a really good workout.

Solid Machine

I have been using my Stamina rower for about 4 weeks now. It was fairly easy to assemble myself. It seems sturdy and I have put it through some long workouts. My only complaint is the display screen / function is not working right after only a few uses. I haven't taken it back to the store , I just use a stopwatch for my workouts instead.

Saved my sanity

Sidelined by plantar fasciitis, I bought the rower to get in some sort of daily work out before I went nuts. It hasn't let me down. It's great for upper body toning while getting in cardio exercise. And it's kept me from bouncing off the walls.

Complete Workout in Small Space

I wanted a compact,sturdy machine for a total body workout. The Stamina Air Rower works all major muscle groups and puts my heart rate in training range. It is just the thing for a 78 year old guy with several bolts and screws in his carcass!

Superior workout/easily moved and stored

Great piece of work out equipment. Provides solid strengthening, and of course it quickly develops the user's "stamina." I quickly saw athletic improvement in various sports activities.
