No germination

Very disapponted; barely any germination with this product. I gave this brand a try as it was on a good sale but it was a complete waste of the fall overseed window. I’ll stick with Scotts for the future as its worth the little extra money for results.

Beautiful Green Grass

Easy to use and had grass growing in under two weeks! We used hay on top ( as seen in photo) as we have lots of wildlife. The before and after is amazing. ( No crabgrass at all)

Dead within a week

I purchased this seed because the reviews were great. Well I followed instructions planted the seeds watered as directed germination was quick started out green then within a week or two turned brown and died. So disappointed ☹️

Quick start and grows quick

Planted this seed in the fall and had grass coming through in just over a week. At first, it seemed to be growing in patches but it has filled in really nicely and is very thick. We've had a lot of early spring rain in Central Ohio that has really helped. I seeded a couple more areas in my backyard in early spring and same result - grass growing in just over a week and looks thick.

used this for a couple of spots in a new yard where the sod didn't take root. The only drawback was the Sta-Green seed grew into grass that was a different shade of green than the sod grass in the rest of the yard.

Hey Look, Grass

My husband swears by the 'green coated seed'. We live in Massachusetts and it works well. The green coating helps me see where it is spread and germinates well. We're brand loyal on this one.

Overseed and patch repair

Used this on my lawn recently to oversees and patch repair. Worked well for both. Had to do it in high 80s temperatures with lots of watering, but most seed germinated and is growing.

Great Lawn Seed

This lawn seed is great, lower in cost that Scotts and work even better.

works really well with top soil or Scott's dirt with fertilizers and frequent watering. Very happy with the outcome

Fast Growing

When an excavator dug up and replaced some sewer drains, they left my yard a completely muddy mess. I bought this seed and some straw and within seven days, I had a thick and lucious new lawn. I’m very impressed by this stuff. I will definitely be buying more to over seed my lawn.
