Disappointing results

I successfully grew this seed last fall. This fall nothing. I planted this like I did before around my property and nothing, not one seedling after two weeks. I don't know what to say. Bad batch maybe? Head shaking, extremely disappointed.

Seeding success requires several important steps

If the user follows proper seeding protocol, this seed does an excellent job. Proper soil preparation and the application of both a proper pre-emergent herbicide and starter fertilizer is important. In addition, covering new seed with a light layer of peat moss enriched top soil is very beneficial. With that said, the most important step is watering. Watering 3 times a day for the first week followed by 2 times a day for the second week and gradually reducing watering to once a day and then 2...

Best I have ever used!

I love my lawn. I want it thick and plush so I annually dethatch, ect. I always use Scott’s everything so I s reseeded with Scott’s big dollar seed. Germination was v poor even after I did everything by the book. Two weeks later I repeated the process with this seed and it was out of the ground in 4 days, unreal. Two weeks later now and 4 inches tall today I mowed it, very impressed. I will continue to buy Scott’s fertilizer but will use sta green seed.

This is the second time I have bought there product. I am un happy with there results.

This product is infested with weeds, STAY AWAY!

I bought this seed to overseas my lawn to make it fuller and fill in a hand full of small bare spots. I am beyond frustrated. I have been doing landscaping for many years and have successfully grown grass and planted sod before and this product takes the cake on being the worst. This is suppose to be a perennial grass seed but 70% of what I put down has died and not come back. 20% is weeds and invasive ugly grass that is not listed on the bag. My lawn has never looked worse. Waste of money and time

It did not germinate at all! Wish I could get my money and time back.

So far so good. Seeded three weeks ago, a little too early so the seed is just now sprouting with the ground finally warmed up. Power thatched, picked up then seed followed by lime and 10-10-10 fertilizer.

Fast growing and thick

I live in RI and planted this seed last fall. It started growing within 5 days and this spring after using sta-green winterizer it came back unbelievably green and thick. I recommend this too all my friends whi are trying to get a lawn started, will buy again every year to overseed!

Zero Stars, Review requires one

New soil, seed hay and lots of water everyday. The seed didn't even give us one blade of grass. We would not recommend this product. We will need to spend hundreds of dollars more to start over.

Quick n easy to use, prepare the lawn area, apply then water three times a week. Should see new lawn growth in a few weeks.

Read the label first

I've had good luck with this grass seed before so it is my go to. However, this time I may have started too late - I'll give it a few more days and that will be more than 2 weeks. But that;s not what I need to say. This seed is coated with a substance called "Apron" - it's a fungicide and helps the young grass when it is just starting out. Worse Seed Ever

I purchased a bag three weeks ago to repair a large bare area in full sun. I prepped the soil, seeded area and watered daily. Nothing has germinated - do not waste your money. I wish I could get a refund. I personally think the seed coating is dehydrating the seed; this kills the seed.

No germination

Very disapponted; barely any germination with this product. I gave this brand a try as it was on a good sale but it was a complete waste of the fall overseed window. I’ll stick with Scotts for the future as its worth the little extra money for results.
