What Customers Are Saying
The Sta-Green Potting Soil Mix appears to be a mixed bag in terms of quality and performance. While some customers report good results, many indicate major issues, including an excessive amount of non-soil materials, poor moisture retention, mold and pest problems, and large debris mixed in. Overall, a significant number of customers reported the soil killed or severely damaged their plants, and it is not recommended for most potted plant applications.

Would Not RecommendI used to use this potting soil all the time. Not anymore. First the “soil” seemed more like compost not completely decayed. Two of the bags had large pieces of wood and one a rock. Not stone, a rock. I mixed the soil with another brand of potting mix and peat moss. Hope my plants do alright.
Vegetable and Flower Potting Soil Mix
Would Not RecommendWorst soil ever. Ground down mulch with gray stuff not even soil. Also lots of little black flies. BEWARE!!!
Just what your plants can use

Sta-Green potting soil works for me.
Would RecommendThe Sta-Green potting soil worked very well for me. I’ve always used Miracle Gro, but after potting six plants, my house is full of gnats. They seem to be in the Miracle Gro potting soil.
Don’t buy that product
Strawberries have not sprotted
Too many sticks
Would Not RecommendThere were too many sticks, it wasn't as "clean" as Miracle Gro. I'll pay a little bit more for cleaner soil.
