Sharp Saws

What I liked most about the Spyder Tarantula 9-Piece Set was the length overall to reach into confined areas. Not only are they sharp, but the threads on the arbors also fit the saw blades easily and the push-button to release the high-speed bits.

Great set

This tool set came in very handy, when I needed to make a few holes in my laundry doors, I’m very happy with the results it was fast and easy to use specially to put them together and to cut the holes.

Easy to Use!

Having used a variety of hole saws through the years I feel I am qualified to state that these are the best I have ever used! They are well designed, easy to change out and are very sharp. In my opinion, the arbors have always been an issue when changing out the size of a saw, but the design and easy to change them out make that issue a moot point. My go to hole saws from now on.

Just a great product

I have several of these kits ranging from cheap to expensive and this kit is impressive for price and value. The molded case keeps all the parts together and ready to use and the bits are sharp and aggressive in their cutting action

This product is better than I expected! I like the feature of ejecting the core after it is cut out and the case is extremely durable and handy to keep everything together.

The kit is very nice and all pieces fit well and securely in their places. Right off the bat, I see the extra side holes and larger size. Great for digging out the cut piece for sure. Setting up the bit in the drill is a dream with the push-button locking mechanism. Has 1 for the smaller bits another for the large ones. They cut very well. Nice kit for the toolbox

While only addressing smaller size holes, this set easily fits in most tool drawers and is quick to set up for use. Easy to screw on with spring loaded prongs for the larger sizes. It does take a bit of practice to use the lock in prongs with one hand while threading the cutting head. Replacements of the pilot bits are a bit steep as you have to buy them as a set with the arbor mount. Great Hole Saw Kit

I found this kit to have quality carbide tips. They work good and are easy to use. I especially liked the quality of the hole saw teeth. Both arbors have a quick release, which makes changing bits fast and simple. The kit is organized and compact.

Love this Spyder

I have a few other products made by Spyder, and I have to say I love them all. This is no exception. The hole saws cut beautifully. Although it did take a small chunk out on the exit side (most likely from user error on my end). The ease of getting the plug out after the cut was undeniable. I didn't have to even do anything, it fell right out.

Should be T-Rex

Talk about powerful. These are the easiest, fastest and easy to clean out hole saws I have ever used. I love the way the arbor assembles. You put the arbor bit in with a snap and then screw the cutter on. No beating the cutter off. These are sharp and ready to cut though whatever you put it to. The storage case is strong and durable. Easy to read sizes. I have wanted to have some great hole saws for some time and now that I have this set I will need the larger ones. Oh well, Back to Lowe's.

Easy to use Design, Great Build Quality

The hole saw kit includes 5 sizes ranging from 1" to 2", as well as chucks and center bits. The three larger saws utilize a locking chuck with pins, while the smaller two are a friction lock. Both center bits and chucks are strong and easy to install and swap out for different sizes. The quick push button release for the center bit makes it very easy to remove debris from the interior of the saws. The carbide tipped blades make quick work of drilling through various materials.

Super easy to eject plugs!

Used this the other day for the first time. I have some super dense heart pine that I tested it on and proceeded to drill it on an angle. The teeth bit immediately and were very sharp. The carbide tips were obviously doing their job and the hole cut like butter. The best part is the cool plug eject feature which is super easy to use and very effective. Great addition to the toolset

Perfect addition. Recently did some new handrails on our deck, and this worked like a charm. Although I only needed one size to complete my project, there a multiple sizes so you can use them for a number of things. So far, quality is great… highly recommend.

This is a Hole in Five

What a great tool kit! After receiving this kit I had reason to drill some holes in 3/4 plywood and found it easy to set up and precise in its function. The holes are smooth and well cut. The carbide teeth will last and don't heat up like hole saws I have used in the past. It is a compact kit that has a space for everything in the case. It is well thought out and laid out. The plug removed easily from the saw.

The hole saw is a nice one. It has 5 saws, 2 arbors, and 2 bits for the arbors. The bits are 5/16” and 1/2”. The 1/2” arbor fits the 3 larger saws and the 5/16” fits the 2 smaller saws. The large has pins to lock on the saw. The small only is tightened on. The bits attach to the arbors with a quick connect fitting and works great. Sharp, cuts Fast

This is a very sharp and high quality hole saw set. I used this on a oak hard wood floor, it went through the hard wood like butter. Very clean cut with quality carbide hole saws. Nice 9 piece carbide tipped set with a quality case to store it in. This set should last a lot longer than regular hole saws. You can also cut through staples and nails which you can't with the regular hole saws. I would highly recommend this 9 piece carbide tipped set from Spyder- Tarantula.

Excellent Quality

This is the best hole saw set I have ever owned. It is top heavy duty quality with a good selection of hole saw blades and drill bits. The case is a great bonus...heavy duty plastic that keeps all the parts enclosed. I highly recommend this product to any DIY fan and/or contractor.
