What Customers Are Saying
The hole saw kit is generally well-received, with users praising its high quality, ease of use, and versatility. The sharp, carbide-tipped blades can easily cut through tough materials, and the quick-release feature for removing cut plugs is appreciated. However, some users have experienced issues with the bits or arbors, and the larger hole saws can get hot during use, requiring slower drilling speeds. Overall, the majority of reviewers consider this a high-quality and valuable tool for various projects.

I purchased this so I could pull ENT tubing throughout the rebuild of my house. This does the job perfectly and the holes are clean.

Junk
Would Not RecommendBought this set to cut 8 holes from 7/8 to 2-/12” in some 1/8” stainless steel panel and they wouldn’t cut it.. my Milwaukee Bi metal did a better job and they aren’t for stainless steel. I will be returning them once I finish the job. Probably work fine for the other materials listed but not for the stainless steel.
Good set
Would RecommendI have only used one of the saws, but I was pleased with the performance.

Both bits broke first use
Would Not RecommendThe auger bits broke on the first use. Using a 12V drill on the slow setting. One broke drilling through a sheet metal electrical box. The other one broke drilling through a 2x4 the first time out of the box. The quality looks looks great and the rapid core eject looks nice to have. The primary goal is to drill a hole though and it failed to do that twice.
New toy. Cut hole out of my trash can. Bit get hot

Spyder Rocks!
I'm a fan of Spyder products. They are worth the few extra bucks compared to less superior products. These hole saws proved no different. They are quality made and perform excellently.

Cuts Fast
Cuts quickly. Works great in hard materials, very aggressive in regular lumber. I'd use the Spyder if you are working in wood mostly.
Tarantula Hole Saw
I bought this kit from Lowe's late last year. I opened it just yesterday for the first time. drilled a hole in a piece of plywood to run electrical wires into the fuse panel. Drilled the hole just fine. Went to remove the plug and yup, you got it. Broke the drill bit itself. And yup, there's only a 30 day warranty. guess I should have used it the day I bought it. Just didn't need it then. So now I have a hole saw kit without the drill bit. So the moral of this story, use this kit gently. it won'...
Center bit broke first time
Would Not RecommendI was excited to use this for the first time after having found it on sale about a year ago. I was drilling about 50 acoustic holes through T111. I didn’t find the rapid eject technology very rapid in at least half of the cases. It worked better when Drilling halfway through on one side, and then finishing on the other. But then you are drilling every hole twice basically. The real problem was when I was about halfway through the holes (at about 25 holes done), the center bit separated itself f...
Works well!
Would RecommendWorks well! I used this on several home improvement projects around the house over the last month. I definitely recommend! Worth the $100 and such a time saver!
Cuts aluminum easily
Would RecommendCut through aluminum storm door extremely easy. However, because of teeth design, the cuts are rough and very slightly oversized. Knowing this I would suggest using a slightly smaller size than needed.

Great Product and Case!
Would RecommendProduct is great, and the carry case is even better for the OCD tool lover. The bits are heavy duty and great quality. The case is a little excessive for the number of tools, but that downside is outweighed by the notion of having a case. The case does not fold fully flat (See picture), this is a downside for me personally. Overall, the kit is of good quality and comes with everything needed from a starter perspective.
Best Kit of It's Kind!
Would RecommendI've been using these types of hole cutters for many years and I can truly say this kit provides the easiest, most versatile combination of interchangeable hole bits that I have ever used. The kit includes two sizes of drill bits that adapt to the 5 different sizes of hole saws (1", 1 1/8", 1 3/8", 1 1/2" and 2" diameters). The hole saw bit system uses an ingenious "quick disconnect" functionality that allow for easy changing of bits without the use of any additional tools. As pictured, the h...
Like butter
Would RecommendI had an issue with the gutter overflowing during a heavy rain. The small cut at the bottom of the gutter to release to the adjacent roof was insufficient. With the large bit I was able to cut a perfect hole for additional drainage. Since then the gutter no longer overflows. The bit cut with ease with minimal torque and an easy initial bite. I would recommend.
A Set Of Great Hole Saws w/Rapid Core Eject
Would RecommendRight from unpacking the case I was favorably impressed. This set come packed in a sturdy molded plastic case and includes 5 hole saws, 2 arbors, and two pilot drills. The two largest saws 2" (51mm) and 1-1/2" (38mm) fit the larger arbor and use the pilot drill with the 1/2" hex shank. The 3 smaller saws 1/3/8" (35mm), 1-1/8" (29mm), and 1" (25mm) fit the smaller arbor and use the 3/8" hex shank pilot bit. Both arbors have the Rapid Core Eject which is basically a quick release that makes ej...
Great cutting, but neat features, too!
Would RecommendBefore using this wonderful kit, I just used my dad's old spade bits, forstner bits or for super big holes, I used a hole saw with tiny jagged teeth. Those things worked, but it was a J-O-B. This kit is a game changer for hole drilling! I love the little orange box to keep everything separate but together. I won't have to guess which bit box I'm grabbing with this being bright orange! I love that there are directions ON the outside of the kit. No paper to lose, which is a skill I have. ...
