What Customers Are Saying
The Speedout Micro extractor is generally effective at removing stripped smaller screws. The set includes four bit sizes to handle a range of screw diameters. Some users noted the bits can be fragile, especially the smaller ones, and the extraction process may require patience and care. Overall, the extractor is considered a useful tool for dealing with stripped screws, though it may not work in every situation.

Would RecommendYes they work. I always have theses in my tool box. I couldn’t tell you how many times this screw extractor saved me from having to cut around the screws or bolts. They are well made and will last for years. The directions are a little vague but you can see videos on how to use them on YT. If you get the box set it will include all sizes including bolts.
Micro Screw Extractor
Would RecommendMicro screw extractor is a must have for people working with small screws. This tool can handle diameter .112 in to .151 in diameter. Typical size of tail.
Pro speec out stripped screw set
Would Not RecommendDid not live up to the hype, the first side drilled out the screw ,when you tried to use the other side it did not grab to remove the screw. Neat case and good quality but results are terrible
Mirco screw extractor
Would RecommendThe SpeedOut Pro Micro Screw Extractor is a must-have tool for anyone who frequently deals with stripped or damaged screws. This compact set is built from M2 tool steel, giving it excellent strength and durability for tough jobs. It’s designed for use with impact drivers and drills, making it versatile for both DIY enthusiasts and professional contractors. The set includes multiple extractor sizes, allowing you to handle a variety of small screw types with ease. The claim of removing stripped sc...
It almost worked
I'll be honest, I've never successfully used a screw extractor. Mostly because the drill bit part fails, and if I have to bust out my cobalt drill bits, then I may as well drill it out completely. These held up the best of any I've ever used and actually reversed the bit some. So I'll take that as a win. I could see them working on cheap screws, and turning screw heads a glowing red is always fun. But if you have ever successfully used them, then I can vouch that these are a good quality, plus t...
Micro screw and bolt tool
Would RecommendThis tool works great for micro screws and hardware that is otherwise impossible to remove. Even the smallest quarter inch screw is easy to remove with this tool. They easily screw into the chuck on a driver drill, And build of a quality material that will last for multiple use uses the conveniently store in an include included carrying case and storage case.
Good
Handy tool to have but you need to follow the directions otherwise you’ll break the ends. Take your time drilling and keep in reverse. Case is handy but a little flimsy.
Great tool for removing smaller damaged screws
Would RecommendThe Speedout micro screw extractor set is a must have in your tool box to remove smaller damaged screws after all other options fail. This tool will fit into any drill (running in the reverse direction) will drill out the the center of the screw head and then you flip the tool in the drill chuck (again running in the reverse direction) will grip the screw to extract from the hole. The tool came in handy when I was replacing a drawer guide and the head stripped out making it impossible to remov...
Speed out Micro Screw Extractor
Would RecommendThis is a handy tool set for both diy or any handyman. The micro extractor set has four bits. It is well built and easily get the job done. I have a stripped small screw and I was able to extract it within a minute. Remember to drill into the head of the screw using the burnishing end first in reverse. Next flip over and extract using the remover end. It works on any drill.
Speedout-pro will work removing broken screws
Would RecommendI was working on a shower valve, mind you the water main was turn off so no water in the house, my estimate for doing this task was about 30 minutes, then the inevitable happened a screw broke off. Lucky for me I had the Speedout-pro (3-6mm) set with me. What I learned in extracting broken screws the key is to work slowly and carefully. I proceeded to lubricate the area, carefully drilling into the screw and carefully extracting it and to my surprise I was able to finish the task adding just ano...
Great set for small jobs.
Would RecommendI had an old screw that must’ve been put in with a worn out screwdriver so I couldn’t get it back out. I’m a real fan of the left-handed drill bit on this screw extractor set because it worked. I thought it would be more work getting the screw out than it turned out to be because when I used the left-handed drill bit to drill a hole for the extractor the drill bit itself brought the screw out.
This worked, but I used too large a tool first
Would RecommendI used this to remove a small wood screw that I had screwed into a gnarly piece of 2x4. I guessed wrong as to which extractor I should use and ended up removing the entire head. Tried a different screw with a smaller tool and it worked fine. Notice that the back of the packaging shows the diameter of each extractor, but this info is not included in the box. Suggest printing it on the back of the card in the box.
Good tool to attempt before damaging threads!
Would RecommendAs of late I have been refreshing several frame parts on my truck and trailer and have run into stripped screws and bolts because of rust, over torquing or over zealous dealer mechanics. Because of the varying sizes, I tried a few different sets of the Speedout Pro line and found them to work fairly well with some different approaches. Because most of my use is upside down under a skid plate, to show the efforts for the review, I set up several size screws and bolts in a wood block and then sacr...
Awesome Tool
Would RecommendThis little tool is amazing. In under 2 minutes, I was able to extract a tiny rounded screw from my micro compact gun's optic plate. The directions are clear and simple. There are 4 small drill bits that should cover any stripped screw situation. I highly recommend adding this set to your toolbox.
Super useful in case of stripped screws and bolts
Would RecommendI got a set of 3 types of SpeedOut Pro Extractors: Regular screw, Micro Screw, and Bolt extractors. I only used the regular and micro screw extractors for actual work, but have the Bolt extractors on hand "just in case". I have to say that these are indeed pretty high quality and work fine with my Ryobi drill. It latches on with ease (screw on reverse, forward extract). Very easy to use and gets the job done when you have something stuck.
The Whole Process Is Pretty Easy To Do
Would RecommendI am getting much better at using the Speedout Pro Extractors. On this one I used the "Micro Extractor to remove a small wall face-plate screw First I used the largest one, ( the kit contains 4 different sizes ) " drill out in reverse end of the extractor". That starts the digging into the damaged screw. Next I used the other end which on the package is referred to as the "Flip Bit" This cleans it out and allowed me to remove the screw. And then I said to myself, "Good Job Steve". All finished, ...
Must Have For Any Toolbox
Would RecommendAnother great product from the SpeedOut makers. As usual it works excellent for removing stripped screws and takes very little time and effort to do so.
Must have
Would RecommendNot many others offer this small of size. I got these in a pack and used the next size up to remove a stripped torx screw. They work perfectly. I like having the two ends in one bit to prep the area and then extract. The case is nice too.
They did the job
Would RecommendI got this extraxtor set so that I could replace some broken coat hooks. The packaging is sleek and simple. The bits themselves are sturdy. I like how simple to use these bits can be. Tapping into the stripped screws with the drill side of the bits was almost effortless. I was unable to get the other end to bite on the freshly tapped screws, but did end up extracting them with the tapping end. They did the job in the end, but I'm not sure why the gripping end wouldn't bite.
