What Customers Are Saying
The Speedout Micro extractor is generally effective at removing stripped smaller screws. The set includes four bit sizes to handle a range of screw diameters. Some users noted the bits can be fragile, especially the smaller ones, and the extraction process may require patience and care. Overall, the extractor is considered a useful tool for dealing with stripped screws, though it may not work in every situation.

Would RecommendI got the micro version for tiny screws on electronics and hobby work. These bits are super sharp and precise. I used them on a stripped laptop screw and it came out without damaging anything around it. The smaller sizes are what make this set great—it handles screws that normal extractors are way too big for. If you work on small devices, glasses, toys, drones, or computers, this micro set is a lifesaver.
Great tool for any handyman
Would RecommendReally useful tool that every handyman should have in their tool box. You never know when a stubborn screw needs to be forced out and this will make your life easier.
Steel
Would RecommendThis is a steel double ended two inch extractor set, perfect for removing any stripped screws in 10 seconds or less, these are well made and durable material being steel.
Not a tool that you need all the time but when
Would RecommendThese Speedout pro screw extractors are a must for the toolbox. The micro extractor is for those little ones the strip out usually made from soft metals like brass, copper, aluminum or soft cheap steel that gets overtighten. Think about flashlights, remotes and holiday electronics that you take out screws in and out over time. It's not a tool that you need all the time but when it happens it's nice to take a couple of minutes and solve the problem. I have several of these in different places so ...
Easy to use and effective!
Would RecommendThese stripped screw removers are great. the variety of sizes helps when I'm working on these old wood projects. I've never used extractors before and these made it easy.
Speed Out Pro (3-6 mm)
Would RecommendFor the purpose of demonstration I put 4 screws into a piece of wood and stripped out the head of the screw and the used the extractor to try and remove the screws. This was for the 3-6 mm extractor. I was able to remove the screw using the end you are suppose to drill out the head of the screw with. When you flip the bit over to the thread tip that you use to extract the screw with, it just drills into the head of the screw. I was able to extract the screw with the other end of the bit.
Quality tool
These were a pleasant surprise I have not had to good of luck extracting small screws that were stripped and buried below the surface, these worked well
Great for small screws, but need improvements
Would RecommendThis was very exciting to try. Always seem to strip small screws like in my glasses. And thought it might be worth trying on removing finishing nails. (Worked! But not great). Used with power drill and hand drill, recommend using a hand drill to prevent over drilling. Or lowest setting on power. Using the smallest bit remover, the cutting side worked, but the extraction side didn’t. Investing found that the extraction threads were only partially cut in to the tool. Also, be sure to keep the pack...
Screw Extractor
Would RecommendSteel Double-Ended 2-in Screw extractor set is very nice to have when you need to get a broken screw out. I like having these because they are very durable and work great.
Great extractor for med size bolts
Would RecommendUsed both the smaller extractors and these bigger size ones. Worked perfectly and on one, it extracted when the bit first went in to drill ( remember, set your drill to counter clockwise when drilling) overall the work better on large screws an med to large bolts. Would recommend.
Great product
Would RecommendI have been using this product for years. You don’t need it all the time but when you do, it’s a lifesaver., I always have them on my work truck, highly recommended.
Use them for RC car repairs
Would RecommendSpeedout Pro Micro Screw Extractor bits are well made and easy to use. There wasn't any complicated instructions. Just drill out the screw in reverse, flip the bit over and extract. Perfect for hobbies like RC cars.

Perfect for Tiny Screws — Saved My Eyeglasses!
Would RecommendI bought the SpeedOut Micro set for small jobs like electronics and eyeglasses, and it works way better than I expected. The bits are tiny but strong — they grabbed onto a stripped screw in my laptop hinge and got it out clean. Easy to use, nice little storage case, and super handy if you deal with small screws often. Definitely worth keeping around for those delicate fixes!
10 seconds or less is aspirational
I just tested and reviewed the standard size Screw Extractor version of this product that is intended to address stripped screws from Number 4 to Number 24. The claim that this product removes ANY stripped screw in 10 Seconds or Less is aspirational at best. The instructions included with the standard Screw Extractor states “Tool can be compromised if extracting large screws exceeding 2 inches in length or with aggressive threads”. So, there is conflicting information and the claim “ANY Strip...
Might work, but not for me
Would Not RecommendI gave these 3 stars because I didn't want to throw the ratings too much in case it was operator error, but I was unable to make them work. I tried the smallest one on a screw that boke off the other day. You can see it in one of the photos. The screw might have been too small, but I couldn't drill far enough into it to find out either way. I got into it a couple of millimeters, and then I couldn't get any further - not far enough for the extractor side to grip. I retried it on a much lager scre...
It worked, but not the way it was intended to work
Would Not RecommendIn this set, there are four bits intended to be used on micro screws ranging in size from .112 in. - .151 in. One end of the bit has a drill head used to drill out the screw head with the drill set in reverse. The other end has a tapered threaded head which you place into the drilled screw head and, using your drill in reverse, press the cone down until the threads engage the walls of the hole, and back the screw out. I tested this using a 2.5 mm micro screw and the #4 micro bit. The drill cu...
micro screw remover
Would RecommendIt really works. Saves a lot of time where in the past it took a long time to remove a bad screw. This remover makes it a simple task. I recommend this to all
A must have
Would RecommendEveryone should have this tool! I'm prone to stripping Phillips head screws more frequently than not. I got this thinking that maybe it could help out. It's been a game changer! Recently I updated all of the electric outlets in my basement. A lot of the old ones were pre stripped for me and this tool was amazing to have in my bag. I also stripped a lot of the screws for the new outlets, and again this tool saved me. It's simple to use, and it backed out all of the stripped screws.
