What Customers Are Saying
The Speed-Out Bolt Extractor is a versatile tool that effectively removes stripped, damaged, or broken bolts of various sizes. The drill bits made of durable M2 tool steel allow users to drill into the bolt head, and the extractor bit can then grip and remove the bolt. Most reviewers praised the tool's ease of use and effectiveness, noting it could remove stubborn, rusted, or stripped bolts that were otherwise difficult to extract. However, some users experienced challenges like the drill bit getting clogged or the bolt head breaking off before the extractor could grip it. Overall, the tool seems to be a useful solution for DIYers and mechanics dealing with problematic bolts.

Would RecommendThese stripped screw removers are great. the variety of sizes helps when I'm working on these old wood projects. I've never used extractors before and these made it easy.
Speed Out Pro Bolt Extractor
Would RecommendThis is for the bolts 6-12 mm extractor. For the purpose of demonstration I put a screw into a block of wood and stripped out the head. I was able to extract the screw. I did not have a bolt handy to use. I used the but and the screw came right out.
Worked great, very handy.
Would RecommendI really like the left hand drill part. And then having the extractor part on it was really handy. I was impressed with the tip on the drill, it actually cut pretty good. I wondered if the tip was going to be long enough that it would go deep enough for the extractor to get into the hole far enough to get a good bite. It got down in there and with a slight lean on the drill it got a good bite. I found that with the drill barely turning, with a lot of torque, it works way better.
Quality tool
Would RecommendDouble ended design with the standard and metric threads is convenient and it’s a small compact case that does not take up too much space in the toolbox
About time! Loved these smooth bolt extractors!
Would RecommendThis is something I ALWAYS wanted and needed, but hadn’t ever seen before. Those stripped bolts need something besides cutting them or using a torch. Worked slick on the bolt I tried it on. Need to have labeling on the outside case so you don’t loose them in the tool box. Also, don’t throw away the packaging as that is the only instructions. (This needs fixing). Worked with both power and hand drills. You will need a wrench to extract, as power drill was too powerful and hand drill couldn’t. But...
Really disappointed and spent way too much time
Would Not RecommendI tried but failed with my test case. I spent way too much time trying to test this product. Very frustrated. In addition, 1 of the bits started disintegrating. The 4 included extractors come in a nice black sturdy case. They are labeled 1/4in-M6 thru 1/2in-M12 from smallest to largest in the set. The 1/4in-M6 (6mm) corresponds to 1/4in bolt extraction candidates. The 5/16in-M8 (8mm) corresponds to 5/16in bolt extraction candidates. The 3/8in-M10 (10mm) corresponds to 3/8in bolt extracti...
Metric screw extractor
Would RecommendSteel Double-Ended 4-in Screw extractor set is very nice to have when you need to get a broken screw out. I like having these because they are very durable and work great.
Work great!!
Would RecommendOk...received three different sets of these and these worked the best. Love how there set to extract after drilling! (Remomber to drill counte-clockwise!!) Wold recomend for small to med size screws. Use the larger set for bolts
Easy to use bolt extractors
Would RecommendSpeedout Pro Bolt Extractor bits are well made and easy to use. There wasn't any complicated instructions. Just drill out the bolt head in reverse, flip the bit over and extract.
DeBolt your boards!!!!
Would RecommendAnother handy tool to extract bolts from projects needing repair. Save the original woodwork by using this handy drill attachment to get the bolt "out"!
Took Out a Rusted Bolt Like a Champ!
Would RecommendHad a couple of rusted bolts stuck on my old grill and nothing else worked—until I tried this SpeedOut bolt remover. Super easy to use and surprisingly strong for its size. Just drill in, reverse it, and the bolt comes right out. The set feels solid, fits nicely in my drill, and the case keeps everything together. Not a tool I use every day, but when you’re stuck, it’s a total lifesaver. Great buy for any DIY toolbox!
Useful, and functional, but a couple mis-steps
Would RecommendWorked pretty well on the first try. Granted, I primed the conditions by cutting off the screw head and hitting it with a punch. It was a 1/4" screw as can be seen in the photo, so I used the smallest one. It had no problem drilling down into the metal quickly. I ran out of patience waiting to drill down far enough for the applicable threads to reach so I screwed it down and it came out easily, even using a fast speed. Hopefully it works again when I actually need it. I removed one star due to...
A must have for any handyman
Would RecommendI am prone to strip bolts and screws. I've seen countless hours trying to use one of the many tricks you can find on the internet to remove a stripped bolt, most of the time failing to remove it and walking away in defeat. Then one day, I finally decided enough and got the Speedout bolt and screw extractors. I should have purchased these things years ago. The amount of time I've saved already has more than paid for them. These things are so great that I decided to use them to remove some stubbor...
bolt remover
Would RecommendIt really works. Saves a lot of time where in the past it took a long time to remove a bad bolt . This remover makes it a simple task. I recommend this to all
Two bits broke
Would Not RecommendThere are four extractor bits in the set set designed to be used on 1/4", 5\16", 3\8", and 1\2" bolts. To use the bit, you are to drill a hole in the broken bolt with the extractor drill head, which drills in reverse. After the hole is drilled you screw down a cone-shaped extractor head so it meets the top of the drill head and then you are to slowly drill/turn the extractor in reverse so the extractor threads engage the edges of the drilled hole and it should back the bolt out. I tested this...
For fence gate repairs and big bolts
Would RecommendI used many screw extractors and most work almost the same way. I have never heard of a bolt extractor until I received this set. I am not sure I will be using it near as much as the smaller heads, but if you are doing any repairs to a gate or an older trailer, these bits are invaluable. It is hard to anticipate the tools I will need on my next project but theses sets are a life saver when I needed them. They are well made and will last for years. The different sizes lets you choose the correct ...
