What Customers Are Saying
The Speed-Out Bolt Extractor is a versatile tool that effectively removes stripped, damaged, or broken bolts of various sizes. The drill bits made of durable M2 tool steel allow users to drill into the bolt head, and the extractor bit can then grip and remove the bolt. Most reviewers praised the tool's ease of use and effectiveness, noting it could remove stubborn, rusted, or stripped bolts that were otherwise difficult to extract. However, some users experienced challenges like the drill bit getting clogged or the bolt head breaking off before the extractor could grip it. Overall, the tool seems to be a useful solution for DIYers and mechanics dealing with problematic bolts.

Would RecommendI didn't get to use it a whole lot, so I don't know everything about it, but when I did use it didn't break immediately like everything else I had tried, in fact - it didn't break at all :)

Bit walks (w/ starter hole) & snaps on extraction
Would Not RecommendFollowed instructions to the letter, not my first rodeo. Even with a starter hole the bit walked, and promptly snapped when trying to extract

Immediately Breaks
Would Not RecommendI tried two different bits on two different bolts and it just immediately breaks. It is very fragile and not made for actual bolts. Very disappointed, was hoping for better.

Broke 1.5 getting one bolt out and now the remainder all broke on the second. I’d recommend only if the bolt is not rusted in place and is only stripped.
It broke immediately at first of use

Great Bolt Extractor Set!
Would RecommendThis product works really well on extracting bolts – it took me about one minute to extract a stripped bolt! I tested this tool out by driving a 8mm – 1.25 x 25mm Philips drive machine bolt into a 2x4. I then drilled out the head to represent it being stripped. I popped one of the Speed Out bits into my drill, and it drilled out a pocket into the head of the bolt. This took the longest time since there was a quite a bit of material to remove to clear the way for the tap. Once the tap grabbed h...

4 piece bolt extractor set.
Would RecommendThe 4 piece screw extractor set is great for stripped bolts. Simple design, drill out and set screw extractor for removing stripped bolts. Set is more for small to medium bolts which is nice. Seems to be made with high quality steel and durable looking. I do recommend this set for small to medium applications. This is definitely a plus for my tools collection.
Easy to use
Would RecommendI was using a 21 volt Dewalt cordless drill to use these bolt extractors. You place it on the drill like you would any other drill bit. Make sure it's tight. When using it against a bolt you have to make sure the drill is set on reverse. The 1st bolt i tried I went full speed and it seemed to struggle some but it eventually got the bolt out. I definitely recommend when you are in need of getting stripped out bolts. Never knew this was a thing.
Faster than the old method
Would RecommendMost commonly I run into bolts failing to extract when performing vehicle repair. The head usually snaps off when trying to remove the bolt. The damage is usually done while installing the bolt. The idea behind this extractor set is that you can use a drill to remove the bolt, rather than the hand turned bolt extractors that I had lots of previous experience with. The first step is to drill a hole in the bolt head. Any bolt can break, but it's usually an exhaust manifold or water pump bolt. In c...
