I have an old lathe. With the extension tubes....the base fits great. It's nice to move the lathe around the shop, even outside under the canopy for a few hours of turning.

It works but...
I bought this because the manual for the band saw said I needed this particular mobile base. The web site for the saw said I needed a T28000 "Bear Crawl" base, and I went with the manual. Turned out the t28000 is a much nicer mobile base...it moves more easily, it has foot levers for raisng its feet off the floor, while the D2058A has manual twist knobs, and it seems at least as heavy duty as the D2058A. If you are thinking about getting this mobile base make sure the T28000 won't work.

Mobile machine base.
I think Grizzly could improve this item by giving customers an option to have four swivel wheels. Sometimes a crowded garage is easier to maneuver a machine on four swivel wheels than two swivels. Once I bought two more swivel corners and did just that. It works nicely. Cmon Grzzly give us that option.

I'm using this on my Jet thickness planer. The Jet comes with wheels built into the base, but they're very limited on how they can move. I have a small shop, so the ShopFox base makes it a lot easier to move the thickness planer around.

Great mobile base
This is a great mobile base. In the world of mobile bases, this one is Meghan Trainor approved. I used in on a 9x16 horizontal bandsaw, needed the extension kit to get it to work but it was easy and now the saw is mobile.

Works great
This dolly works great I have a 600-lb bandsaw that I'm using it on and it has no problem handling it; the only thing, and this is not a complaint it would be nice to have three hands when you put it together

Always get the job done, I have seven of these. Super mobile 2058A version has cast steel wheels which do not wear or flatten out, making rolling on hard surfaces easy. 2058A is also rated slightly higher at 1300 lbs.
