Sturdy
Would RecommendThis base is great, the only issue i had was mounting the band saw to the base. The lower storage compartment would not open because of the bolts on the base. I ground off the heads and it works perfectly now.

Machine roll around base
Would RecommendI got this back in 2006 about should have bought 2 of them i own a 1023z with a 3hp motor @240 volts, but later got a Jet hybrid 120 volt 2 hp saw free, this base fit and works on the Proshop II w/cast iron wings with no problems its a very solid system far better then what Harvey/Bridgcity tools offers with there saws. Solid system built for larger tools not just Grizzly brands.

Fits my 19" Shop Fox Band Saw almost perfectly
Well made and stable. Only drawback I've found is I need to shorten the shanks on the bolts that face the lower drive wheel door so the door will swing open w/o hitting the lock bolts. Easy enough and fixed.

I wish there was an option to have all 4 casters swivel. I had to purchase additional casters and drill out new holes even though they were the same product.

Life Saver
I normally make my own bases; However, realizing that the band saw I had ordered was many hundred pounds in weight, I ordered this base a couple of days after the main purchase. When the freight delivery arrived, I was surprised to find that while crated, the saw was too tall clear my garage door, so I had to uncrate it in the driveway and was grateful when the UPS truck pulled up with this base just as I was trying to figure out how to move it into the garage. Great mobile base
I am happy I found this mobile base. It is well made, the metal wheels seem to be heavy duty. I am using this mobile base for a toolbox that I needed to fit under a work bench. I needed to shorten the front 4 bolts that hold the front rail in place to allow my bottom drawer to open. I have purchased 3 of these and I am pleased with them. I do wish there were an option for 4 swivel castes. Overall I recommend thes mobile bases.
