Love my shark ion robot! I am always shocked at how much dirt this bot will find and it easily can get under my couch. It includes barriers to keep the robot away from wires or anything else you might have on the floor. I recommend this to anyone with a small house!

never goes in consistant paths. Way to random.

Recieved as a gift. Was so excited. Now it will go into the garage. Probably perfect for large, square, empty room with no furnature. So dissapointed!!

You can't live without the Shark ION Robot Vac

I have wanted one of these vacuum's for years. I own a Shark cordless vacuum with pet attachments. Shark is the best product to assist you around the house especially when they vacuum for you. This product does everything I knew it would do being a Shark product. It now free's up time for me to do the things I like and no more big poofs of dog hair floating around... I can now vacuum every other day. LOVE IT! Buy it, you wont be disappointed.

Doesn't work well

This was sent as a replacement for a different model I purchased. Don't have to empty the tiny bin much because the debris gets clogged in front of it. It Mostly turns circles and wonders around till the battery dies. Has never once returned to its base. It is quiet. I originally purchased the rv722 because it had a large bin and no little nobs on top. Well... this rv720 has 3 nobs on top and does absolutely nothing for pet hair. Amazing!!

This robot vacuum is absolutely amazing. With 2 kids and 3 dogs in the house we get that dirty gritty feeling on our tile almost the next day after vacuuming. With this robot out floors stay clean. We do run it twice a day sometimes but the good thing is that it really isn't loud either. So you can enjoy family time or nap time without a y distractions.

fun, innovative product w/room for improvement

I appreciate the innovative technology this product represents, but I think there are areas of improvement. 1.) Works best on hard floor. It does carpet, but doesn't have the power of a traditional vacuum w/beater brush agitator. 2.) We kept it confined to hard floor, not only due to #1, but due to the toys, books, etc. that are always left on the floor by the kids... Just too many obstacles in our house to maneuver around unless you make sure to keep them picked up before every scheduled...

Great buy for the price!

We have used other robot vacuums in the past that were upwards of $700 and this shark vacuum performed very closed to if not equal to the quality and performance of the other ones we have owned. It was definitely noticeably quieter, able to pick up very fine dust, and climb over room floor dividers, which was a bonus for us. Once I figured out that I couldn't stand to watch it work, we got along great! The random pattern makes me crazy waiting for it to accidentally stumble onto a fuzz ball that I can plainly see in the middle of the floor. It comes within inches of something and spins around and goes another direction till it senses something else. Fantastic product

We are surprised how well this works! We have hardwood flooring and run this vacuum once in the morning and once in the evening. The floors stay cleaner now than they ever have before. It doesn’t cause a cloud of dust and dog hair, like sweeping with a broom or using an upright vacuum does. It is quiet enough that it doesn’t interrupt watching tv or conversations. Awesome Technology

The Shark Ion Robot comes with a charging dock, remote control, charger, hair removal tool, 2 extra side brushes, 2 AAA batteries, BotBoundary Strips and Connectors, and an extra filter. Don't cancel maid service yet

This vacuum works great when transitioning from carpet to porcelain/ceramic floors. It comes with magnetic barrier strips that are cut to your size to prevent the vacuum from entering areas you don't need vacuumed. I personally would prefer a mapping system on a robotic vacuum to ensure my entire floors get cleaned, something this vacuum does not have. When the unit is running, it is not very loud at all. Like having a maid in the house

Wow! The robotic vacuum is a great gadget. It cleans carpets and bare floors very well. Really does a good job. It thoroughly goes over the entire room, and once it "learns" the borders (walls, barrier strips, etc.), it doesn't run up against them again. So easy: just turn it on and watch it work. I can even get my husband to "do" the vacuuming now. (He thinks it's a toy!) And the robot doesn't scare the dog nearly as much as my upright vacuum does. This is the best invention ever!

Patience is key....

My daughter loves her robot vacuum so I was anxious to try this, and I’m really glad I did. It’s like finally having someone helping you with housework! Fantastic Product!

The Shark Ion Robotic Vacuum is fantastic! It is everything I hoped it would be and more. The suction is much more than I expected, and as much as my Electrolux vacuum cleaner. It sucks up dog hair and dust to an extreme. It steers safely around most furnishings and walls, and causes no damage by bumping into things. It does state that it has a feature so it will not fall down stairs, but it definitely does not work when it comes to vacuuming off the top of a comforter. (Just thought I would try...

Nice unit does what we would expect

This was a gift for my wife and she loves it. We had a different one that was a bit noisy & would not climb our thicker carpet. This one climbs it with no problem and is not loud at all, even when it leaves the carpet and is on the hardwood.

Excellent product

The Shark was easy to set up out of the box with a 5 step getting started insert on top. It is very simple to use and once set up, all I have had to do is clean the filter and the brushes. I am particularly impressed with how much very fine dust this can pick up. In our home we have 2 dogs and 3 cats so hair must be managed daily. I thought it had mapping but does not, just bounces off walls to change direction, I returned after 1 use

I LOVE this vac. It has made my life easier. It cleans edges goes under my bed and cleans the dust bunnies. It cleans all 8 rooms dog hair gone. It has two sweepers so it cleans a larger area. LOVE it
