Don’t buy

Same issue as other people have stated. Less than 6 months old and it will stop after about 20 seconds of running, red light flashes, and keeps beeping. Changed battery, cleaned filter, etc. It will turn back on and run for another 20 second season but then stop again.

This is a great investment. My husband got one for me for Christmas and we haven’t stopped using it.

I’m impressed with the performance of the robot vacuum, specially for the battery life and the vacuuming power. It really cleans very well and found it on really good price. Definitely a must have product. It would be great if the app would show the map of the area like some other vacuums, but is not a big deal.

Too bad it breaks

I think the vacume cleans rather well, but, I am now on the second vacume after sending in the last one. One made it a little past a year, the second one hasn’t even gone 6 months. What a joke.

Average cleaning. Programming could be much better

This provides average cleaning for what it cost but frequently gets stuck on areas that should be easy for it to figure out. I know about the strips you’re supposed to place everywhere but the amount you have to use clutters up your floor and look silly on a solid hardwood floor. We have three pedestal fans and the vacuum will get stuck every time on them. Instead of realizing it can’t go forward over the pedestal, it keeps on trying to go forward until it dies. We have to constantly babysit...

I honestly love my shark ion! It was very easy to set up and use! Picks up so much dog hair. Only con is that it can get stuck on wires and small rugs. Overall great product.

My shark just quit working, a little over 1 yr after purchasing it . Battery is fine. Trouble shooting found nothing. Too much money for that length of time.

Waste of money

Basicly a stupid robot. Had other brands and never had the issues as I did with this one. never goes in any pattern,gets stuck constantly,goes in circles instead of trying to get out of a corner,etc.

Doing an average job so far

Have had this vacuum for only a couple weeks so I may have to update my review after a longer time. But for now I would say it is doing an average job. I have a dog and six cats so there is a lot of fur on the floor and I have a wood burning stove so the wood creates a lot of dust and dirt. I use the vacuum every day to keep the floors clean and it is nice to not have to vacuum it myself. The suction seems pretty good because it does pick up almost everything, including the cat litter my cat...

I purchased this in Oct 2018 and am on my third one due to having to warranty the vacuum.It is by far the worst Shark product I have ever owned.It constantly gets stuck under my couches or stuck on my end tables.It'll just stop in the middle of the floor and turn off.My daughter and I have long hair and it has gotten stuck inside the body of the vacuum where the long brush attaches even with cleaning it after each use.The only way to access this would be to take the entire cover off,so now the v...

Honeymoon stage over

Bought there maybe 6 months ago and I loved it. Now it is the most annoying thing ever. Gets stuck, we un stick it, it goes right back to where it got stuck, I've watched it sit and spin in circles right in from of the charger, now its stopping and acting like it stuck in the middle of open. Floor with nothing wrong with it. I would love all my money back for it. I've taken good care of it and now it reminds me of the robot from Flubber after it gets smashed with a bat. LOVE IT,never had a robot and its the best i clean when i m not home and its great i have a lab and it clean so good all the hair, LOVE IT i no Longer have furry feet!! i run it every other day and do every other room and its great, i have had it for just over a year, i clean it every other trip i use a can of air to blast out the dust inside and its still runs perfectly well!! need one for every floor!! haha

Waste of money

When I bought my robot vacuum shark didnt have the one with mapping available yet. I love all my shark products so i decided to buy a robot vac and give it a try big mistake. This thing takes over a hour to clean a 10x20 room and still misses areas but also goes over the same areas many times and it will get stuck constantly it can never find it's way back to the dock.. Shark should have a trade in program so people can trade the old ones in for the newer ones with mapping as the ones without ar...

Good first robot

My robot works as advertised. It has problems primarily with the user.

I wasn’t sure about this robotic vacuum trend but decided to give it a shot. The pros are that you can set it and control it through an app. I have it run while I’m at work so I don’t have to listen to it running. It does pretty well with dog hair too. Cons are that it tends to get stuck a lot so I’ll come home and find it sitting somewhere, and you have to remember to empty the dirt cup frequently or it’ll clog. Overall not a bad product.

Heartbroken

I was so excited to get this ...but within hours it started making a squealing high pitch noise from the beater roller...I exchanged it ..didn't want to give it up ...and with in an hour it was doing the same thing ...I googled it and it seems to be a common problem ...I just want it to work ..it cleans beautifully... any help would be greatly appreciated

Love it

I've had this unit for 2+yrs now and have zero issues with it. I have a lot of hardwood flooring and 2 large breed dogs for it to cover and clean up after. No issues so far and money well spent!!

Shark robot

I haven’t had my shark a year and I am having issues, which makes me sad because I loved my robot . It’s just stoped working with a big red circle kept appearing and we cleaned it took it apart nothings broke everything was clean ..with it costing so much I just wish it would’ve lasted a little longer .

Got as Xmas present almost 2 years ago & works great. Had my first problem with it this week & the support team helped to fix it within minutes.

Great vaccum

I've always been sceptical about robot vaccums but after owning one of these units I'm sold. It's not a mapping type so it will clean in random patterns, so it won't get everything in the first run, but after the second almost everything will be gone. It's nice to be able to get notifications about cleanings to my phone, it's also nice to be able to set a schedual for cleaning and set quiet hours.
