Good quality easy fit

This is a very good product which needs packaging improvement. It states that it is universal kit but then in the bottom of the package it states fits select models. Luckily mine is in the list.

Replacement bump head trimmer with wind n go

This Shakespeare wind n go trimmer assembly was fairly easy to install on my husqvarna line trimmer. The kit contains a variety of assembly fasteners to attach the trimmer head to the trimmer. The head assembly was a challenge to take apart for installation but after that it was an easy install. After the installation line up the arrows and push the trimmer line through one side and out the other. This was a challenge at first but then I rounded the end of the line and it slid through easer....

Great unit and instructions.

Most importantly the directions are that a company this are fantastic they give you three different options depending on what kind of unit you're working with the only thing I would say to be aware of is that it's not exactly universal I bought this for my Black & Decker but wound up using it on my Stihl because it wouldn't fit the Black & Decker. So make sure to check the website for fit. Nevertheless extremely well made unit I would definitely recommend.

Not compatible with all weed trimmers

I had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately it's not compatible with the model of weed trimmer that I have. Even though the manufacturer is listed on the package, It does not appear the model I have is one of them.

Cuts too higher on ground

I was excited to try this product, it didn't come with it's own line, I had some. The instructions weren't clear to me, so after watching a video, I was able to put it together. Inserted the line on each side evenly, after winding it, it didn't come out evenly, so i cut the longer line to match the shorter line. Ran with the straight shaft weed trimmer and to my disappointment, it didn't cut the weeds lower that then i expected. The unit it self is about 1"-3/4" off the ground.

String trimmer replacement head

Very nice replacement part for your string trimmer, it comes with all the hardware needed for numerous kinds of trimmers, well priced, very sturdy construction and would highly recommend it, easy to use

Good Idea But Not Executed Very Well

I thought the Shakespeare Wind-N-Go Bump Head String Trimmer Replacement would be a great alternative to me having to take my Husqvarna weed eater head apart to add more trimmer line. The Shakespeare replacement advertises itself as able to feed the line through the head itself and then you rotate the trimmer head to wind the line within the head. No more string headaches

This is an ingenious idea. Loading is very easy just line up the dots. Instillation is a breeze. Mine fits on an electric Kobalt. This is well made comes with attachments to fit multiple trimmers. Just the ease of loading the string alone is worth it. No more hassle.

Gonna whack them weeds.

Nicely made and apparently a quality product. Winding replacement line is one of the worst things about trimmers. Taking the head apart and losing the spring or getting dirt on the threads is a super pain. This winding mechanism was easy and fast. Wound my .095 line in no time at all. It loads both sides at once. Installation was straight forward and without a hitch. A little bigger than the original but that means it holds more line. Time will tell but so far this looks like a real winner!

Trimmer replacement head

The replacement head that I received did not come with string. I did not have string readily available so I could not review how easy it would be to load. After several attempts, it did not fit my Craftsman trimmer. It did fit on a Dewalt trimmer. It is awkward to attach and requires several minutes. I would not consider this a universal part. It is made of sturdy material.

Questionable trimmer head

I am disappointed in this trimmer head. I get the concept. You align both arrows and feed the line through till you get 8 feet on both sides. Then turn the head and it feeds the line into the head. It will not feed at all. When you have the arrows lined up, you should see daylight through the head but I don’t see any. I guess you can take the head assembly apart and do it the old fashion way.

Trimmer Head

Selected this product hoping it would work better then our current trimmer head. The instructions didn't include how to open the trimmer head so we watched the video with the QR code. He said to push in the tabs with his fingers to open the trimmer head, he did it with ease. Ours were not easy, took us forever. Tried our fingers, did not work. Very easy to install

Universal replacement weed wacker head. Fits about twenty plus name brand gas powered weed wacker brands. Easy to install. Paper instructions included nlbut also a QR code that goes to an installation video that was very easy to follow. Fits like a glove on my craftsman brand. Easy loading string with easy arrows and twist knob the wrap the string inside. Can take .08 to .095 size string. Strong durable plastic. Great product

If works should be nice head!

This appears to be a nice replacement head for multiple weed eaters unfortunately it wouldn't work with my older Ryobi. It comes with multiple adapters and is big heavy unit. The instructions were not great and could definitely be improved.

Great Trimmer Head!

The Shakespeare trimmer head fit my 20v weed trimmer perfectly. Came with different adapters to make sure it would fit multiple trimmers. It is quality made and worked perfectly.

Would Not Fit My Trimmer

I received this string head in good condition and the instructions were straight forward. There are several nuts included of different sizes designed to adapt this head to your tool. Unfortunately, none of the nuts were the correct size and I was unable to install this head on my Stihl trimmer.

The right price

Going to try this as a replacement for a Ryobi battery operated weed eater. It looks to be built really good. It does come with several adapters and a list of all the brands it replaces.
