Universal for sure!

Took a few minutes to get the correct parts to fit. Unfortunately it left a large gap at the top of spool. High grass easily gets wound around shaft and clogs. I'm working on a solution.

Holds lots of line

Like that it will hold a lot of string. However even though it said it was compatible with my Troy Built. It was not a simple plug and play per say with included hardware. I had to use my own bolt in combination with what was provided for it to be snug on my weed eater. MASSIVE improvement over Craftsman original

I have a Craftsman multi tool 4 stroke with the string trimmer and brush cutter attachments, the trimmer head was rather cumbersome to use, had poor clearance tolerances and would jam up frequently with use, eventually one of the eyelets fell out due to how it was manufactured, and the string would break off all the time. worst trimmer head ever

The one time I managed to keep it attached, the line wouldn't feed when I bumped it,. I eventually had to take it off the clip broke , I had already thrown away the packaging, so I’m unable to return it or get a refund. I have never come across something this poorly made.

Fit my 80v Kobalt without issue

I had some doubts after reading some reviews which stated that this would not fit their 80v Kobalt string trimmer. I had no issues whatsoever. The nut with "2" stamped in the side worked perfectly for me. I also had zero issues separating the top from the bottom; proper pressure is your friend.

Worthless installintion instructions

The written instructions are vague and useless. The QR code leads to youtube videos that not only do not include instructions for my trimmer (Stihl FS 38), but not even anything on this specific trimmer head. There are videos of other models, but not this one. Do no waste your money, you end up with a bunch of junk hardware and no idea what to do with it. Unless I get a response that includes specific and helpful.instructions, I will never buy anything from this company again.

Not a good product

It was near impossible to push in the tabs far enough to get it apart to put it on my trimmer. I had to use more tools than I care to admit to get them pushed in and pry it open. Once I got it on the trimmer the line would not thread through like it is supposed to, watched the how to video and still could not get it to work. Taking it back and getting something else.
