Easy to mount, easy to feed string, easy to use. Holds up to 26 feet of 0.095 string. The head only feeds out a few inches of string at a time not 3 feet for better string control. The head is a little larger and heavier than most which allows for better control in cutting height and helps to better ballance the trimmer.

Works with Colbalt 40V Max sort of

While installing this I went through the adapters over and over agian trying to find one that would easily install. I took a gamble with the closest and had to use a pair of pliers to keep it from spinning and used the head to turn it on, it eventually seated and works. I added a photo to prove it!

DO NOT BUY!!

If you want a weed eater head that will take you 4 times as long to weed eat your yard. This is the hunk of junk for you. I had to get the adapter parts machined to make it fit my weed eater and the string will not feed out. I would definitely not buy this product again!

Kobalt 40v weed string trimmer lost its bump knob (cheap production) I bought this nice paperweight to replace the hassles of reclining the trimmer entirely. little did I know that the parts they provided dont fit the thread of the device itself. save yourself the hassle of these issues: buy a dewalt battery operated string trimmer that already has a wind and line bump of superior quality installed from the manufacturer.

product does not work with TroyBilt

I bought this to replace my OEM bump head on my 4 cycle TroyBilt. On the outside of the packaging it says it works with TroyBilt but it doesn't. Once I opened the package, the directions say that it doesn't work with fixed head trimmers, which mine is. The packaging is to torn up to return to Lowes for a refund. Highly disappointed in this product.

Does not fit Kobalt 40 Volt Trimmer

List of models on the packaging that are compatible includes the Kobalt 40 Volt Trimmer. This trimmer head does not include the required adapter to install the head on the trimmer.

DOES NOT WORK WITH KOBALT 40v MAX

Does NOT work with 40v kobalt max. Got the trimmer home and thought it would be super easy but after doing some work with the installation ive noticed that the sleeve is not the right thread up so it will not work with any of the adaptors. The reason im giving one star is because i cant give a total ZERO! Should be as advertised and will be returning tomorrrow. Absolute crap!

Perfect fit to my T230

Excellent fit to my Shindaiwa T230 trimmer! Trimmer line loading was a breeze and head worked much better than the stock head. Large selection of adapters provided. Buy this!

Disappointment

Wasso excited to finally see the fed ex man pull up with this after unpackaging and reading instructions tried to put the head on and none of the adaptors will fit What a let down

Check your owners manual for clear directions

Probably it was my inexperience but I could not load cutting string properly. This caused much frustration and unraveling of cutting string.

Absolute crap. The package says the unit is compatible with most models… that is until you buy it for $30, get home and open the instuctions. Thats when you learn it doest work with curved arm trimmers or various brands with yellow trimmer heads.
