While easy to instal and load the line this trimmer head will no longer feed line without bashing it on the ground. I have tried a few other trimmer lines since the problem started with no improvement, it worked great for 4 uses but failed to function after that.

It's not well made. It came off the first time I use it. It's to tall as well.

DOES NOT WORK with curved head trimmers

Called their tech support and confirmed that this product does not work with trimmers that have a curved shaft. The package and the web site lists it as universal fit and my brand trimmer is listed as compatible. You don't find out this information until you cut the package open and look at the instructions. Might be a fine product, just poor information led me to the pain of returning this and getting one that is compatible.

NOT compatible with curved-shaft trimmers

The ability to quickly and easily load more string is excellent when there is a lot of weed whacking that needs to be done. The components to make this product near-universal are all included in the packaging. What I really did not like was that nowhere on the packaging does it say that it doesn't fit on curved string trimmers. It says that it fits select models, with a list of models on the back. It isn't until you've unpackaged everything and are reading the instructions that you find out ...

needs more adapter

there is no adapter to fit my troy-bilt . There is a listing on the pack that say troy-bilt . I tore the package up to bad to take it back can u make me an adapter to fit my troy bilt 575se trimmer I think I would really like this product

I bet it sells out

Easily holds 25' of .08 trimmer cord. Easy to load, clear markings.

Does not fit the most common troy bilt weed eater lowes sells. Waste of time

Does not fit Stihl FS 38

Just bought the universal adapter today and none of the thread adapters fit on my Stihl FS38 trimmer. Disappointed since it claims to fit Stihl trimmers.

Good Concept - Bad Performance

I liked the idea of the speed load however it did not perform as advertised. First off, hard to twist to wind up the line. Then while operating, the bump feature does not work that well. Took 5 to 10 bumps to let out just a little line. I took out all the line and tried again. Same issue. So after just a couple weeks of use (one a weekend) there is now a crack on the plastic. Just purchased to replace OEM head. it fits and works fine. Will see after more use.

Non-Stop Weeding

First time installing this tool and I finished my whole yard non-stop. Just bump and keep on going. Works as designed! Easy to load!

Finally, Easy Line Loading

This bump head was easy to install (remember the shaft of the trimmer probably has a left-hand thread) and even easier to load up with 'string.' Simply cut a full length of line, some 20-odd feet for .095, align the arrows on the head and then thread the line completely through to its mid-point. Winding the line on the spool from there was vastly easier than the after-market head on my other trimmer. Otherwise, there were no problems feeding out more line by bumping the head on softer surfaces...

Problems

Cannot get the head to tighten on my Husqvarna 128CD trimmer. No way to hold the shaft when trying to tighten it. Line does not feed easily. When I turn the knob, it takes some and then stops. If I keep turning, it will feed a little and then stop. Not happy

Junk in every way. Get the Echo Speed Feed!

Too heavy, too cheap, sucks to load, jams all the time, and fails in every other way. Get the Echo Speed Feed instead. It better in every way!!!

Broke my trimmer

So the instructions have a link to a YouTube video. The video does not exist. So after some frustration I got the head on. It somehow is too tight preventing the rotating mechanism and now it won’t get off. So now I wasted the $30 on the head that won’t work and it has completely made my trimmer I obsolete
