Better than anticipated
Would RecommendAfter wearing out my original bump head (a lot of concrete/asphalt contact) I was directed to this replacement head by a friend. Primarily, he was impressed with the ease of fitting his shaft to the replacement head (ALL necessary adapters included) and the extra length of cutting string it can hold, plus the ease of reloading the head. I totally agree with my friend, and I also highly recommend this bump head!

Troy built curve shaft
Would Not RecommendThis does not work on a Troy built curved shaft trimmer like the tb22.
not a review, but a question
will this unit fit a Bolens BL110 curved shaft trimmer?

Terribly Disappointing
Would Not RecommendI need a new trimmer head for a WeedEater XT260. This one comes with lots of adapter parts nd has WeedEater listed on the back as a compatible brand. The problem is that all of the adapter inserts and the head itself is threaded left-handed while the WeedEater spindle is right-hand threaded. You'd think that might be useful information to put ON THE FRONT OF THE BOX!!! So I went to two different stores before I finally decided on this and bought it, only to come back home, all ready to eat weed...

Tough and will not add to your workload
Would RecommendI've worn out several of these and it's because I use them to weedeat on gravel driveways. Bouncing them on rocks takes its toll in them but I'd expect them to eventual fail treating them that roughly. Still I get a couple of seasons out of each. They are easy to load, use about 25 feet of .095 line and feet out the line very readily. Whenever I get a new weedeater I just replace the original with one of these before I use it the first time. I don't know of anything that works better or I'd be u...
