Bump Feed String Trimmer Replacement Head

I purchased this as a replacement for the standard head for my Shindiawa T231. This is the second time I purchased this item. The first one was installed on a Husqvarna trimmer. These replacement heads work great, and hold a lot of strings make sure you install it correctly. I learned this the hard way as the Shindiawa spins in opposite direction, so when I bumped the head it retracted the line.

Threads

Wouldn’t thread into a compatible trimmer. Also wouldn’t thread into the head. Worthless! Won’t buy another product from this company.

Really wanted this to work

Every threaded adapter supplied had a left handed thread. My trimmer requires a right hand thread. I guess I am in the 1% of all trimmers that don't work with this even though I've been buying universal trimmer heads for years and all other ones fit.

Fantastic concept

I have had many bump heads on trimmers over the years. This is by far the best. Has perfect angel and does not overfeed. Easy to load. Excellent product.

I have 5 acres that I maintain and was using a different product on my trimmer. I would have to stop and change the line constantly. I’ve used this for twice now and it cut my trimming time in half!! Awesome!! Very durable and solid construction (My rocky terrain rough on yard tools). Great product. Would highly recommend.

Horrible Instructions

I have purchased 3 of the Shakespeare Auto Winder II trimmer heads. I have the same 2 problems with those. 1 - the autowind becomes very hard to turn after the 4th or 5th refill. 2 - the smaller bumper wears out after the 10th refill. I would still rather deal with this over the default head that came on my Cub Cadet. I have been clearing out 5 acres so I went through the 5 pound spool of .105 last year. I decided to upgrade to this head which is commercial grade. I am not good with worki...

Universal weedeater Pro Bump head

Easy to install with basic hand tools. Accepts three feed line sizes and can feed line thru spool with no problems. When in use, just bump the head and line comes out with minimal effort. Worth the money.
