Very pleased

I'm not one of those guys that's very big on writing reviews, but I was really pleased that safe appears to be everything as described. The functionality is great, quality appears to be excellent, functions exactly as it's supposed to and had no issue with it. Well built safe .. easy to program.

Good, then not so good.

My sister bought me this safe 4 months ago and I loved it at first, but about a month later the struts failed and no longer lift the hatch up. Great concept, bad delivery.

Great Safe

This safe is exactly what I was looking for and appears to be well made.

Works as advertised!

It is a perfect size and appears very strong. Love it.

solid product but not perfect

The box is solid and works well overall, but the gas strut weakened within a year. It's possible I just had a defective one, but they didn't seem to want to replace it under warranty. The other issue is that it doesn't like rechargeable batteries. Master Lock needs to get with the times. Disposable batteries are a no-no, and the electrical components need to be engineered to cope with the lower voltage.

Great safe

I think this a great safe that is reliable and durable. Very well made. Love the bio feature. Was a little confusing on the set up of two different users prints but I finally got it. That the only reason i gave it a four. other than that its great.

Good safe, perfect for the bedroom

I like it. The bio scanner can be slightly temperamental. But it definitely works. There’s a slight delay to it’s operation that throws me off. The key pad is great and very intuitive. It fits my 40 & 2 mags very well. I definitely recommend it.

Good basic biometric case for your pistol

With 3 options to secure your firearm (biometric, key, pin), it makes for a very good storage option to keep home security safe and readily available at the same time. It's tough to get in your biometrics in the short time available to enter it though. So, if you're looking for one user, maybe two, this case will work fine. You'll need a more robust case to get multiple users in with biometric data though. The hydraulic piston is starting to get a little slow on me after a year of ownership. B...

Easy to set up, quick release door

Exactly what I was looking for in a safe. Fingerprints were easy to set up for my wife and I.

Finger print doesn’t work

We tried everything to get the finger print and or code to work. No go shopping it back

Good safe, Slow reaction on Biometric

Perfect fit in my nightstand drawer, just what I wanted. Finger swipe Biometric reacts after 2-4 swipes, a bit slower than I had expected.

Quality construction, excellent ease of access

I like it very much. The build quality is generally very good except for a weirdly cheap plastic battery compartment. The fingerprint reader is pretty excellent, only misreads now and then. The security code and physical key ways of entry are also great and work flawlessly. Love the hydraulic arm that lifts the lid for you. The only thing it's missing is a light on the inside. Great product, you won't be disappointed.

Strong, not to heavy

This safe is excellent. The only thing is when it opens it bangs pretty loud. Nothing crazy, but not as quiet as I hoped. Maybe itll break in after a few uses. Not the end of the world, just wished it was a little quieter

Junk gas struts

My gas strut doesn’t open the door anymore. It is only 2 years old and been opened about 30 times. You have to pry the door open with a screwdriver

Perfect for safety and usability

Both me and my wife love the finger print option. She is happy with only having to use her finger print to open the safe and have access to its contents. I enjoy and feel safe assured that my wife can get to its contents with confidence when needed

No Long Opens

I had the same experience as Bryl (another reviewer). After a couple years, the safe no longer opens. It's unfortunate because, other than that, it's a great safe. When you rely on your gun for protection, the last thing you want is a safe that fails to open.

Lives up to its reputation

This safe took a little bit to program the biometrics, but it turned out it was because of batteries I had that had lost some charge. Once I got that sorted out, it worked well and was not difficult to program. It has opened consistently until yesterday, in which one of my fingerprints did not open it, and that's the only reason for 4/5 stars. I hope that won't be an issue in the future. So far, so good, and sturdy overall.
