I hadn’t even had this machine two months and it began smoking. Set off my smoke alarm while I was asleep. Samsung is a NIGHTMARE to work with. Product was under warranty and trying to get a new one was ridiculous. Samsung would rather put someone’s life at risk then replace a $700 faulty product. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Great Washer - New model coming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really a nice washer, works great and is quiet. It has features that let you know it's 'smart' just like so many Samsung products. I'm bummed though the new model is coming out soon, and they added an agitator. It looks really nice also. I probably would have gone traditional if that one was available 2 months ago when I purchased.

One option needed

I've had this washer for a month. It is the first washer I have ever had without an agitator. As far as washing goes, it does a pretty good job. There does seem to be a drawback though. Whether its a small load or a large load, at the end of the cycle the items are too wet in my opinion. There is no option to wash with an "extended spin". After the wash is done, you have to select the Spin Only option to really get all or most of the water out of the clothes. I suppose that if you don't mind dry...

Very nice

Only had it for about 3wks, no issues, it plays a whole song tune when done with cycle. The store was limited to what they had in stocks so we chose this one & they had it. I like the top see thru glass.sk u can watch it spin.

Great washer

I gave it 4 stars just because the tub is really deep and for a short person it's difficult to get socks, smaller items out of the bottom of the tub. However my husband came up with a solution. He gave me a long pair of what i call getters. People can use them to get something high on a shelf. I use it to get socks and small items out of the washer.

Love it!

I have not had good luck with either washers or dryers. So far, I really like it! The tune it plays when the cycle ends is so sweet.

Very pleased to-date

The only reason I’m offering 4, not 5 stars is because of the scratch and dent found on this dryer. We purchased the dryer (and matching washer) on-line, with the product coming from their warehouse inventory. Therefore, I did not see the appliance in the store to notice these damages. Thankfully both the scratch and dent are not visible once installing the washer and dryer, nor are the damages causing any issues with the proper function of the dryer. A DISAPPOINTMENT

FOUR PROBLEMS: ~'Speed Wash' for this Samsung is 36 to 42 minutes, as opposed to 15 minutes of my previous washer (LG front loader). Tried to find out how long speed wash was before I bought this.... neither I nor the Lowe's clerk could find out the info. ~Before starting the load of wash I poured laundry detergent & softener in the tray. As soon as I pushed the tray back into place, it dispersed the softener into the washer!! Softener is supposed to be used in rinse cycle, not the was...

Best Washer EVER!

This truly is THE quietest washer we have ever had! Our last washer was a beast, so a quiet washer was a must. We have been so happy with our choice.

Avoid!! Or buy extended warranty. 2 months & broke

I'm a single woman, no children, sometimes I won't even do a weekly load. So very minimal usage! And this thing broke on me after 2 months! Thankfully it's under factory warranty but I'm sure it's a sign if things to come. Very disappointed. Didn't hear any noise coming from it and smelled burning. Samsung's outsourced warranty repair was 1 week out, and if they have to order a part that'll just prolong repairs. Avoid!!

Broken 45 days after purchased , no power 2 unit , after a 15 min hold on phone with Lowes no help due to did not buy ext war , i should of bought butci did not know Lowes allows junk to be sold , should of known more bells means more problems

Ive used this washer a few times now ad am very happy with it. It doesn't have a lot of "bells and whistles" like some of the other pricier models do but I don't care about any of that. We just wanted a modern-looking washing machine that is efficient & gets the job done. This is it. My Samsung washer is rusting at the top where you load the clothes. Maybe I shouldn't be using water to wash my cloths.
