Fantastic clean

The Powerbot is a great little machine that is easy to program and operate with the included remote. It has “learned” my downstairs and gets almost every nook and cranny, even under my couch. I come home and my floors are clean and the bot is back on her charger. The only issue I have is, like all my Samsung appliances, the mobile phone application doesn’t work well on an iPhone. All in all I am very happy with my little bot.

Such a disappointment

Why build a bigger motor into a device and fail to give it the appropriate battery to handle the bigger motor?!? Does not work well with rugs.

R7040 has major problems with rugs on hard floor. One rub is a robot-width from the wall and when it goes off the rug and turns around it has major problems climbing back onto the rug, It sense the edge and stops and tries to go a different direction, repeatedly fumbling a simple transition to the rug. I see none of its claimed behavior: EasyPass™ Wheels - Large wheels move smoothly over obstacles, transitioning from hard floors to carpet with ease.

Works as Advertized and Very Well.

I purchased this for my wife(and myself) for Christmas and we both are very pleased on it's performance. Amazing what it picks up even when you think your carpets and floor are clean.

Dust Bin has a design flaw

Purchased vacuum on 12/17 and have quickly realized that the dust bin cylinder clogs with dust and then the vacuum cannot pick up anything else. this is due to very small opening made to route particles from cylinder portion of dust bin into the actual bin.

This unit is well worth the purchase, it has helped me keep my floors clean with my busy schedule,,Very impressed with it.

SamBot

SamBot is just what we needed. We live in a house in the country with all hardwood floors. I have two dogs that come in and out thru a doggie door as often as they please and bring in everything stuck to them all the time. SamBot keeps the floors cleaned up, just let it learn and let it go. Once a day every day and my floors keep free of grass and dirt.

I bought my wife this POWERbot™ R7040 Robot Vacuum for Christmas. We love it works very well and picks up dirt with no problem.

Very dumb robot

I have had this machine for about 8 months now and it seems to get stupider and stupider all the time. It keeps running into things. One time I watched it take 30 minutes to get out of a corner. You can't program it to run on certain days of the week only every day and that does not work. I set it to run at a certain time each day and it only runs once. Absolutely love it. Cleans very well and manages to get around all the obstacles in our house.

Inconsistent performance

I would like to start by saying I love samsung. I have many of their products that's why I bought this product just before Christmas. Pros: It works well on our carpet and hardwood floors. Cons: Consistently gets caught up in our dining room chairs and has a difficult time finding its way back for charging. At times was unable to find its way back before the battery died. A couple times it didn't recognize the chairs and would slighlty ride up on the leg and get stuck.

JUST WOW

I got this vacuum free when I purchased a Samsung refrigerator , have always been Leary of robot vacs and how they work and if they are worth the money. Well only used this 2 times and I am sure I will have some problems but I am sold now!!! Cleans really well. Defiantly will never ever live without a robot vacuum ever again!!!

Just unboxed and love it already

I just finished opening it up and charging it. After waiting the 30 minutes of charging, it's ready to go. As I'm writing my review, I'm watching it do things my Roomba was always missing. Not too loud, and the first time a vacuum didn't bother my dogs. Love it!

This is a Great Product!

I bought this for both my wife and myself for Christmas this year. We are amazed at how well this appliance works from a thorough cleaning on both carpets and hardwood floors to automatically returning home to the charger when battery running low. We've tried many of the features and actually have not gotten through all of them as yet but what we tried works perfectly. I was hesitant to try this appliance but am in no way disappointed

So much quieter than my previous neato vacuum and app based control is really nice feature

Intelligent features

The Powerbot R7040 Vacuum is an excellent product and stands up to the Samsung brand. All of our products are Samsung: 82 inch TV, Washer and dryer, Refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, Galaxy Phones, Tablet and Dishwasher. Adding the Robot Vacuum was an excellent addition to the family.

AWESOME cleaner for those with pets

Great vaccum for dog hair

I bought this vacuum recently and I’m so happy so far. We have 3 German Shepherds and there is dog hair everywhere constantly on the floor. Whit this vacuum I have saved so much time on cleaning and I love how the house keeps clean. Works well cleaning the edges and under furniture.
