Good waterproof layer

I like this underlayment for a good waterproof application. The plastic upper lining and flap seal feature ensures a good layer seal. I like that the adhesive is included built in so I don’t have to worry about tape. The foam is fairly thin but with the channels the sound dampening seems to be good.

Very thick foam like barrier.

This has a thick foam barrier look but has a grid area to allow airflow to the surface that it's on. With an insulation like quality to protect the wood under it and give a uniform surface for the flooring on top of it.

Waterproof underlayment

Finally got the last piece to redo my floors. I cant wait to lay this down and have no worries about the wood underneath. Being waterproof is amazing.

Best value and performance in underlayment!

This stuff is the best. lays easily, so any DIY can do it even has it's own self sticking seal and seam. Can't go wrong with this one, provides a barrier and makes the flooring seem almost soft to walk. Also deadens any sounds on it. Just all around great! Highly recommend, for any laminate/engineered flooring.

Great easy-to-install and comfy underlayment!

This is a great underlayment. We wanted to try something new, and gave this one a chance - glad we did! It is incredibly easy to work with, easy to cut, and feels great under the foot once it is installed. Great cushioning. We installed it over a plywood subfloor, so the adhesion worked great, and was super easy. Absolutely Floored

I am putting in a kitchenette in my new upstairs space in my garage, and this worked great for my sub-flooring. I was able to quickly lay this down and put my floor over it and I am completely confident my decking is safe from anything. When you open the packaging for this stuff you can feel the value in your finger tips. Excellent product.

Amazing flooring underlayment

High quality underlayment

This is some pretty thick underlayment, comes with the peel and stick so it makes it easy to install, one 25 foot roll covers both my bathrooms with plenty left over says it's sound deadening considering the thickness and design i believe it.

Great stuff

This underlayment is great. The underside has air channels so the air can still move. Also there is a built in tape for the moisture barrier which means it is more or less all included. The tape that was used to package the underlayment was not easy to get off without damaging the underpayment. And since it is rolled up, it takes a bit to get it all glat. Overall this product is great and comes with simple instructions.

Great Padding Very Quiet

I received this product and installed it in my foyer under vinyl plank flooring. This product definitely reduces the noise on walking on the floor. Great Padding and I will recommend to friends and family.

Quality underlayment

The underlayment comes in a convenient roll and is easy to handle/ transport to job sites. It is sturdy yet has some give. It works great under LVP with attached backing and engineered planks. It is easy to cut for irregular areas like door jams and cabinets. There is no strong smell or odor. Excellent product.

Stainmaster underlayment

This stainmaster floor underlayment is just fantastic. It is of thick high quality material with a sticky backing. I am highly impressed with the way it lays down and the flooring meshes with it. This underlayment is highly recommended. Great product!

Solid, simple under layer, but a little thin.

A decent foam under layer. It was super easy to install, the self adhesive tape on the edges made it easy to put into the right spots and hold it down while I installed an engineered wood floor over it. Overall seems to provide a good cushion under the floor, and I am confident the included vapor barrier will provide a solid moisture barrier. Con: claim is 3mm, but multiple measurements show it at 2.60-2.65mm.

Great cushion for laminate

Great underlayment for waterproof laminate. It comes in a rather short roll but is sufficient to cover about 75 sq/ft or so. The underlayment is necessary to have a tight seal and to protect the wood from the elements. It also gives a nice cushion between the plywood or concrete subfloor. This underpayment is about 3mm thick and I used this with 8mm plank. The results were great and it gives enough cushion to my floor once you step on it.
