Great waterproof underlayment!

We’re remodeling our master bath and the waterproof underlayment and flooring are the last steps before the vanity goes in. Stainmaster brand underlayment is good quality plus it’s nice and thick providing both sound proofing and vapor barrier protection. Our floor was uneven because we removed an old jet tub so the thickness really helped level things out and we found install fairly easy because it’s peel and stick.

Stain master underlayment

This underlayment is very sturdy and well made. Comes in 25 ft roll which was perfect for what I needed. Love the texture and durability of this laminate underlayment and will be the only kind I buy in my future flooring projects.

Great combo of vapor barrier and underlayment

Nice combination of a vapor barrier, underlayment, cushion, and noise reducer! (The only thing it doesn't do is the dishes!! :-) ) While being only about 3mm thick, this underlayment packs a lot of cushioning in such a small space - the underside has a checkered pattern that aids with airflow and aids in the cushioning, while the top side has the built in vapor barrier that provides for the waterproofing characteristics. Stainmaster waterproof underlayment!

This Stainmaster Underlayment is an impressive well designed manufactured product. Very easy to work with. The flooring along with this waterproof moisture resistant underlayment is coming together as a perfect combination for my latest home/office project. It’s easy to install, has a lot of character, especially the strength and durability of this product itself. As you can see in the pictures, I am in the prep stage of my again latest project.

We got this to go under the new flooring we are installing in our back hallway. We had carpet, but it was so hard to keep clean. We did not want to put just regular laminate flooring because it is a high traffic area, and because it is by our main door, it needs to stand up to snow and rain being tracked in. Decent product for the price.

Now don't expect this product to solve all of your floors problems. It definitely minimizes the noise and makes it easier to lay the flooring down. The side with the squares faces down so you can use that grid pattern to make cutting it to size easier. It's nice that they have a pre installed tape adhesive to help with installation. Stainmaster’s waterproof underlayment for use with laminate flooring is excellent. It is made from a thick foam material that in itself feels soft under foot. I really like the thick plastic backing that allows overlap on its edges and the adhesive strip that’s included. This product would add additional cushion and waterproof abilities to any laminate flooring.

This was easy install as it is water repellent and was redoing a bathroom floor decided use this with waterproof laminate wood flooring it does have a lit cushion n seems to stay where put

Good to have

i especially like this product because it is not only waterproof, but also cushions and reduces the noise level between rooms. Especially helpful if you use it on a second floor as i did.

Waterproof underlayment with vapor barrier

This product is great to use when laminate flooring doesn’t have a pad on it to put over underlayment for sound reading also waterproof barrier.The roll is 36 inches wide and 25ft long, covers 75 square feet. There a clear plastic section for overlapping and recommend taping seams. Label facing upwards.

Cool Laminate

This laminate did not tear very easy, which I believe will make it hold up in the long run. It seems to be made pretty heavy duty. It is also easy to work with.

Easy to install happy with the product

Easy-to-use and I love my new floor. We put pergo down in our upper bedroom. It was easy to roll out & has ready to use double sided tape already on it. It went down smooth & the extra cushion & help with sound. I'm happy

Perfect material for finishing my basement bathroom and closet super soft and I love the waterproof aspect of it easy to install and looks like a lasting material that will last a long time in my basement

Nice padded underlayment

This STAINMASTER waterproof underlayment works very well with any floating flooring for many reasons: I was putting it down on the concrete basement floor and was worried about moisture. It has a vapor barrier and within the 3mm padding there are channels or slight grooves that should help dissipate any moisture and keep the concrete subfloor dry out. The padding is also antimicrobial so that should help prevent any mold. The padding helps even out any uneven surface areas and makes it better...

The Best underlayment

I’ve used several different types of underlayment and this one is by far the best for its quality. Where this stands out from the rest is the plastic lining underneath, it’s thick and sturdy, not like some others that I’ve seen to be very thin, stretchy and easy to rip. I’m confident that this underlayment will offer solid protection from moisture and will last forever. Above all, it’s made in USA, speaks for itself.

Wow! Super well made & very good vapor protection.

Wow! This is the best flooring vapor barrier I’ve used. Very well-made and easy to install. Definitely dampens the outside sound and keeps moisture out from entering your space.

Highly Recommend

I am installing laminate flooring in our out building so I used this underlayment by Stainmaster knowing that it is waterproof. It went down fast and easy and the peel and stick tape was one of the reasons. The thickness adds a little insulation which is a plus for my out building. With a built in vapor barrier that saves time and money from having to add your own. Best of all it comes with a Lifetime warranty. I would highly recommend this product.

Great flooring underlayment

This is a sound laminate underlayment for most of your wood and other flooring. The rolls were thick enough to ensure the sound proof “ness” of your steps as you walk though. The installation of the roll was as simple as any other flooring project. Would recommend

Cushon and moisture barrier.

I’ve installed a few laminate floors and spent various amounts on flooring. I’ve tried a few different underlays and liked the wase of use and quality of this product. When comparing the features and performance this product provides, I agree that it is a “premium” level product. You need to read the instructions.
