Throwing money out the window

Did my deck at the end of last summer , Had it powerwashed prior to sealing . Now it has come up in large sections. Never made it thru the winter. If you want your deck to look like it needs to be torn down and replaced then this is the stuff for you. Poorest quality i have ever have used .

10X Deck Coating

After watching way to many commercials, I decided to try this on the front steps of our home. I bought one gallon, and on the recommendation of the salesman, bought the recommended roller. This was to cover 30 square feet of steps. The tinting was very good, though we picked the wrong color, it wasn't so far off that we couldn't use it. really does the job

I have used other porch paint and none of them compare to this, we have had very hard rains since putting this down and the only place it chipped was where water dripped off an awning, which is not surprising since dripping water can cut thru rock. I just put an outdoor rug down in that spot.

ABSOLUTE WORST WASTE OF MONEY EVER!!!

Purchased this product, needed to buy double the amount recommended, not even a year later it has flaked and peeled off our porch. All the money and time spent making sure we did everything exactly according to directions and for what, our deck now looks WORSE that it did before. We now need to spend MORE money to try and remove this product and then yet more money to purchase another product to cover it again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT !!!!

Nice product

The finish on this stuff seems pretty durable and it looks good. The problem was applying it. The recommended roller doesn't cover much before having to put more paint on. They recommend two coats which I'd say is correct. I found that one gallon does not cover what it says it will. If you buy it you'd probably want to buy more than recommended.

worst purchase ever

if they had a zero I would use it for this. did not last one year. cracked and peeling even where there has been nothing walking on deck and no furniture. has to be completely removed and deck restained. do not buy!!!!!

Oh No, Rustoleum.......

I have been using rustoleum products for years, and always know them to be top-notch......Until now. If you are looking to use this on a patio, or sidewalk, keep looking. I painted my 300 square foot patio with a different product about 5 years ago, and it looked like it was time to freshen it up a little. Restore Deck Nightmare

Not only did we call and have the Restore support staff walk us through the process we followed every specific detail they gave us. We have had nothing but issues with this product and now our 1000 sq ft deck needs to be completely re-decked at this point. This product is bubbling, cracking, chipping, discoloring and has allowed water to get to our wood causing water damage. This product does not seal and protect your wood from water. I would never put this product over wood!

STAY AWAY!!!!

This product promises a lot (10 years of wear, fill cracks, restore old wood, etc) and delivers NOTHING!!!! I had my deck redone with this product less than 3 months ago and spent well over $200 for the product and all the "special" rollers that they want you to use. I paid for professional painters to apply this and they did exactly as the product states it must be done. I am now looking at a deck that is covered in a flaking, brittle, ugly paint that is going to cost me well over $1000 to have...

Never again

I would not recommend this product to anyone. First of all it is a mess to apply. After a drying for several days we put some light weight patio chairs out. We noticed when we moved them, chunks of the product came up with the chair leg bottoms. I had to scrape it all off and go with just a regular deck stain. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!

Love It!!!

I have an old porch that needed love. This product is Awesome. I did find though that using the suggested roller to apply no matter how slow I went caused alot of splatter on my siding. Instead of using the roller for initial and second coat I applied it using a brush working in small sections than going over it with the roller slowly to get that textured effect. I got better and thicker coverage that way as well All in all it is a great product.

Restore your Deck!

Comfy to walk on, not hot under direct sun!! For a 10x12 deck we used 2 - 1 gallon of the brown stain for the handrails, 1- 1 gallon Beach stain and 2- 5 gallons of the Beach restore for the part you walk on. We used 2 big and 2 small rollers (their special ones). Be sure to cover the surroundings as the stuff splatters. Also very time consuming! Took 2 of us 3 days!

Restore Stain

We put this product on our deck the last several weekends and we love it. There is a video telling you how to use it and we followed the instructions to the t. We prepped the deck by cleaning and power washing it then let it dry then applied the stain to ballasters using 2 coats then we tackled the deck also using 2 coats. Its back breaking but the end results are awsome. I only finished the deck on 10/3/12. My deck looks like new and its supposed to last 10 to 12 yrs minimum. I'd highly recomme...

Tedious

This is an amazing product. It's made my deck look 10,000 times better. It's very tedious to paint because it doesn't spread out that well and the balusters take time to paint. I HIGHLY recommend getting some wood filler or exterior caulking to fill in the big cracks in your wood because it will help save some of the paint and saves time.

Great way to save your deck!

I just moved into a house with a 24 year old cedar deck in rough shape. After power washing and replacing some boards I was ready to make it look good for years to come. Ugly color for deck

Looks cheap. Not a good color for a lighter color house. Looks very dark. Most decks in my neighborhood have a red color.

Great product!

We finished the deck that surrounds our pool with this product. It comes in a good variety of colors. We used a two toned designed that turned out nicely. This product has been on the deck for one year now. It looks like it is going to be very durable. It looks as good now as it did when we put it on. We were re-finishing our deck every year or two. It also provided a skid resistant surface which is nice around the pool.
