If you don't mind water leaking out the bottom....

I bought this washer and was replacing after first time using it. Water was dripping out of the bottom. Less than a year later the second one is leaving a huge pool of water on the floor coming from bottom of washer. This was recommended by a repairman as Whirlpool's economy brand. I am now thinking the repairman just wanted my future business. I would never buy another Roper again & won't be going to Lowes for appliances.

Don't Buy It!!!!!!!!

We went to Lowes to purchase an inexpensive washer, and got a piece of junk! First of all, it is Very Noisy. Second of all, the water level on the rinse cycle does not match the capacity that it is set to. Question? How can you have a large wash cycle, and only get less than a small amount of water on the rinse cycle? Who came up with this energy saver? A little loud

The washer is pretty basic. It was inexpensive and works fine, but it is pretty loud. If you're looking for a cheap washer to get your clothes clean, this one is fine. If you want more, you're going to have to pay for it.

Rinse level inadequate, unsanitary...smells

Having had a GE washer that lasted only 1 year before breaking down...we decided to pay less on our present Roper washer. What a mistake! The rinse cycle will not fill commensurate with the wash cycle settings. It appears lower than the small load setting. When washing towels, washrags, and "unmentionables", I like a CLEAN rinse. The water temperature does not get hot because of federal regulations. Then it doesn't fill completely. How is one supposed to kill germs? I will never, EVER get a Rope...

I had this washer for 2 yrs and its dead. we didnt use it any more than normal loads it looks like a new washer so tough to junk it . pay a little more and get one with a ten year warrenty.

washes clothes

I ordered online and had it delivered so I was afraid that I had made a mistake. It washes well. It is loulder than my old model but it isn't too bad. I recommend it highly

Great Product for a Great Price

I am very pleased with the purchase of this washer. It does exactly what I need it to do and the price was right up my alley. I have not had any problems since my purchase. Its very inexpensive and does just as good as a washer that has all the bells and whistles.

UHHHHHHHHHHH

Had the washer about two years... the timer stopped working, had that fixed for 150.00$, 4 months later a bad burning smell and now it wont spin out. If your cool with renting this for a couple years for the price then go for it.

They won't let me post what I really think

This machine is terrible! The rinse level is so low, the clothes don't even get down into the rinse water. After rinsing, the clothes still have suds on them, even when I use half the recommended amount of detergent. The only way to get the clothes adequately rinsed is to set the machine back on wash to fill up the machine, then back on rinse. When I washed towels, even after running through the regular rinse and a complete wash and rinse with no detergent, there was still enough detergent to ha...

Awesome Buy

My washer died about 2:00 pm Saturday. I ordered a new one via Blackberry. I had it 10:00 Sunday morning! Great price, simple to use, low noise and plenty of settings; including gentle. Great buy!

Nice washer ... just didnt last long enough.

I bought the pair. Had them about 4 years. Minimal use. Single household. The tub seal has went out. It;s MAJOR to repair. Might as well buy a new one. This washer was okay but it should have lasted longer with only minimal usage.

do not like the rinse water level

I have owned this washer and dryer in a previous 5 yr old model and for the value it has worked fine with no problems, it was for my sons house. Now I purchased another washer for a vacation home of the same model. I do not like the new lower water level for the rinse cycle. I do not feel that the clothes are rinsed of soap very well on a low water level. You cannot adjust this, and I did not know of the new water saving requirements by the government. Piece of JUNK

My husband bought this piece of junk washer. very loud, sounds like wrecking ball dropping when it changes gears to spin. only lasted 17 months!! Don't waste your money, spend a little extra and get brand name washer.

Stinks awfully!!!

This washer is sooo loud!!!!! i cant use it while my child is asleep or else it will wake him up.. And it STINKS to high heaven!!!!!!!!! i dont know whats wrong with it i think im going to have to return it...

Seems Like A good Buy So Far

I have only been using the machine for a few weeks, but so far, so good. Although it has a smaller tub size, it has plenty of room for one's needs, including blankets or bedspreads. I especially like the variety of temperature settings. The delivery people were the nicest- the machine arrived promptly, they removed the outside packaging and placed the machine in my laundry room.

worst purchases ever at Lowes

This washing machine is not worth the money you woould spend on it.. The rinse level does not match the wash level so the clothes don't have a good rinse and smale of soapy dirty water..

Loudest machine I have ever purchased

For those of you who think reading these reviews are a waste of time, you are mistaken. When many folks say the same thing about a product, pay attention. Simply does its job

I have used this brand washer along with its dryer for 5 years. They are considerably cheaper than other name brand and do not have many functions. But they always do their cleaning and dry job and never give me any trouble. I would recommend them.

Nothing but trouble!

Purchased this washer and have had repair service out twice within two weeks of purchase; washer is still not working properly. Have repair scheduled for third visit and, if not fixed, this will be considered a lemon and will be returned... this does not look promising. During the final spin cycle, the drum rocks very hard and there is a burning smell and rubbing that has not been fixed... definitely do not recommend.

Great for the price

I have had this washer for 7 years with no problems, also have the dryer, so problems there either, am very happy with both and have no problems recommending them to anyone!
