New Ring Customer

Purchased this system about 6 weeks ago to replace a competitor's system. I included the Ring Door Bell Pro and the Schlage Keypad Deadbolt. The system was simple to install and have not had any issues at this time. I had a need to contact support on two occasions and the support was excellent. My challenges with the system is that Ring does not provide glass break sensors and the Dome Siren is not as loud as the Keypad Siren. The Dome Siren has not been a good addition to the system.

Great Alarm But Not Flawless

I bought this kit as well as three cameras to go with the ring doorbell I already had. Setup was very easy, even for someone who isn't necessarily handy like me. Only had one false alarm so far, which was my own fault. There are times when the notifications are delayed, like my in-laws came yesterday and I didn't get a notification that someone was at my door until 20 mins later. Overall, I'm happy but little things like the incident yesterday take away a star.

Great features!

We bought the Ring system in July. It was easy to setup & the Ring customer support department was very helpful & walked us through the whole setup process. They were great!! We feel safer & secure knowing that we have the Ring system in place.

Super easy set up and works just as I had pictured

I have had the ring alarm for a few months now. What I liked was the ability to very easily add devices over time . I have since purchased two spotlight cams, and a floodlight cam for the exterior of the house which automatically integrated into the ring alarm system (within minutes actually). A mixed bag of satisfaction

we love the app and the convenience of accessing the system remotely. on the other hand, the response to an entry is certainly not instant. often the alram sounds, but no video is available for some time. believe that is due to a lot of factors and may just be an inherent fact for all of these internet based security systems. had lots of issues with the interior cameras, for some reason they seemed to ignore the mode settings and became very annoying. after a couple of tech support calls, t...

Almost perfect

The system is super easy to set up, and relatively easy to use. We love it and would definitely recommend it to other people. The price comparison to other products isnt even close. It’s not what it’s cracked up to be

I had problems with ring since day one it pick’s up motion late it doesn’t pick up motion after if it see you once if you get back in front of the camera .when it’s on people only mode it says that cars are people also this is a replacement door bell and that’s not all the problems i am having this not anything like I expected

Ease of use

Installation was very simple. Smoke detector was a little tricky, but finally got them configured after contacting the Help Desk. The staff were very patient and professional.

Solid system

After doing a lot of research, I went with Ring to complement the doorbell I already had. The system was incredibly easy to install and very customizable. It works as described for the most part, and I'm satisfied with the purchase. I only have two real complaints. One is the motion activated cameras. I am very happy with my ring alarm kit. I have great peace of mind whenever I leave home knowing my home is safe from intruders!

Love it so far

I do have a few complaints. I wish the video was able to be viewed later if needed. I am also not certain that my one sensor is working. I am disappointed that the battery back up only lasts for a short period of time.

Great price

Had this for 2 months and it's great especialy for the price! Only complaint is battery could last a little longer on things like the door bell.

Great product for price and ease of set up

The set up was very easy to do. Depending on windows, the sensors can be a challenge to mount. Overall, I feel it’s a great product for the price and the professional monitoring is by far the most reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Great product, great value, some room improvement

Very happy with the purchase. It's a great product, easy to install and has great value. The best thing of Ring that makes it so much better than competitors is that the monitoring plan has a way better value than any other company. Overall I would definitely recommend this to others. Lights don’t work as we thought they would.

We have had this 2 months, still slot of things I don’t like lights turn on for nobaparant reason and STAY in.

Very good, but not perfect

We do love Ring. The home system was extremely easy to setup. I just wish the kits were customizable. We had to add a bunch of window/door sensors and have no use for the motion detectors.
