Easy installation

I installed this about a month ago and so far it’s great. Also everything is very easy to install and setup.

What good is the alarm system when the battery die

First power outage, and in less than 8hrs, the base station goes off line. What good is the battery back up??

the only thing i would like is help or directions on how to remove window sensor and move it without messing up the adhesive

Easy to set up hardware, app is slow

The hardware side for this kit is pretty solid, battery replacement looks to be easy on the sensors. The only gripe I have is that the app gets increasingly slower as more devices are connected to the base station. The app in general is also pretty slow to load, making it a bit annoying to disarm and arm the system.

Great system

Love this system. Only thing I would have changed was ordering the solar panels with the main system. I installed them after and they work flawlessly and the batteries are constantly at 100%

Great system

Bought system because of price and I already had cameras. Ordered extra sensors love it. I just wish it told you what doors or windows were opening instead of just a beep. Please on 3rd gen must have

Could not be happier!

Loved how easy it was to get up and running! Love how easy it is to configure! Love the notifications on my phone! Only ask would be MORE configuration options! One in particular that would be nice is to be able to have the keypads illuminated, so a quick glance across the room can tell me if I did indeed remember to arm the system...or disarm!

Good features, great price!

I bought the Ring Alarm Kit Generation 2 for my small business. So far, I'm pretty happy with it. It's missing one important feature, but I understand it's in the works - and that is: a glass breakage detector. If somebody opens my door, it will trip the door sensor, but if somebody smashes through my window, nothing to help yet. With that in place when it's released, I'll be very happy. One other thing I hope is improved in the near future - auto contacting of authorities. At least in trial mo...

Nice bill

Love that the bill is less, and now very easy yearly versus a large monthly bill from previous. The system seems to work, I wish I would get around needing the small batteries, but this is minor.

Best on market

Bought this 4 months ago, absolutely stellar features for the price. Alarm and security system super easy to set up, cameras all working great out of the box. Three minor areas for improvement: I get stuck on activating Live View sometimes despite great internet and WiFi connection, devices can not handle coldest possible winter days though that is a limitation of lithium batteries more than design issue, and lastly, please add a Bell icon to the doorbell button - I get a lot of confused peo...

Great alarm

Great alarm system, the only feature that NEEDS to be added is the GLASS BREAK SENSOR. I am using motion detectors in most of my rooms to try to make up for the lack of glass break sensors, bit it would be nice if Ring would add these sensors seeing pretty much ever home security system out there Includes these sensors with their alarms

Works perfect

This system works phenomenally. I’ve already come in to times when it was put to use. One day my fire alarm went off turns out nothing was wrong but I did not know that. I told Ram not to dispatch fire services, but they had to anyways. If they hadn’t, I would not have known if something was wrong.

Reliable security system

I have had another system and I replaced it with Ring. So far great, no complaints. Just that while setting to "home mode" on the key pad, if it could just accept pressing the home button would be great rather than entering the code followed by home button press.

Lagging ring , delayed exit, camera recording suck

I miss all my door bell rings. It doesn't let me mnoe anyone is there until they are gone. It shows I have a delayed exit but when I leave the alarm goes off. The camera for ring shows the end of cars leaving and I can't see a full video even when I have if extended to the max.
