Great product, no installation instructions

It's way cheaper than buying a pre-made ramp system, so the value is really there. It was very easy to drill the holes and assemble. There were no instructions of any kind. The only problem I had with the installation is that there is this little lip on the top that looks like it should fit OVER the wooden board end, but it doesn't quite fit. This product worked just fine

I needed a ramp to get my riding lawn mower in my new shed. without spending a lot of money. This Reese aluminum ramp application did the trick after attaching the two 4 ft treated wood boards very easy and light to move and store inside the shed when not in use. I am very happy with my choice from Lowes

Able to load a Brush Hog into the back of my pickup with no problems.

very smart buy

Purchased them to load snowblower and anything else that i could not lift on back of my pick-up,They can be adjusted from side by side to full width of tailgate and can be used with planks to any lenth. The rubber bottom will not slip on metal or any material used on and installs on planks drilling two holes in minutes .

A Great Product

Having always shopped at Lowes I tried them first when looking for a ramp for my shed. Didn't want to spend alot of money just to get things in and out of the shed, such as mower, tiller, 4 wheeler, and this was the answer. Easy to assemble, make 1 cut and you have 2 4foot ramps. The price was awesome too. Purchased online and picked up in the store the same day.

Confusing Piece of Hardware

Although this concept makes total sense. The fact that the manufacturer made these brackets with a small recessed slot that DOES NOT actually fit onto the end of any 2 x 8, 2 x10 or 2 x 12 is confusing. Because no instructions are included with the aluminum ramp ends, the customer is left with the question, "was this slot made intentionally too small to prevent the end of the board from actually fitting into the ramp end, and so I should leave it alone, or was this a manufacturing mistake and he...

Know What You're Buying

Overall I am pleased with the quality and value of the kit. However, neither the ad nor the packaging indicates that this is only the "top" half of a ramp kit. The enclosed instructions include the directions for install the "bottom" ramp kit but its not included and not even available at the store.

Just what I needed

I needed a ramp to put a motorcycle into the back of an Avalanche. All the metal ramps were to short (6' or less) which made the incline 50 degrees or steeper and very pricy. I was aemle to use a 10’ 2x10 and that made the incline easy enough for one person to load the bike. simple way to make inexpensive ramps

Made a pair of ramps with these to get a snow blower and mower in & out of a shed. Material quality seems quite good. Can't speak to durability yet, since I've only had them a couple of months, but they seem like they should last.

Great Product...Simple To Use/Install

Bought a set for my truck years ago to load my riding mower and snow blower. Just bought an additional set for our company work van to load all types of equipment. Suggest using with pressure treated planks

EZ installation

I installed them on 2X10's to put my lawn tractor and snow blower in the back of my F150, they worked great!

Ramp top kit

We were pleasantly surprized by the ease of installation and quality of these Reese ramps. Work great and stay in place during use. As with most Reese products they are a good value and a Plus: made in the U.S.A.!!!

** CAUTION **

The product itself was exactly what I expected - strong and well built. The ONLY problem I had was with the missing parts. The box "looked" like it had been opened by a PREVIOUS customer and then returned to the shelf. I should have checked before I left the store - oh well - my loss - it was only the grip tape that was missing, but STILL - I should have been more careful........(next time)

Great idea, but not good enough

The design makes you feel very comfortable but in reality the wood that you will attach to this product makes all the difference. I tried to use this to load my Craftsman 42" riding mower to my Nissan Frontier, not a good idea. Even with pressure treated 2" X "8 X 10 (as recommended by instructions) I was unable to load the mower to my truck. Don't spend your money on this ramp kit, get a real ramp, it will save you money and your back in the long run.

Extremely satisfied

These were exactly as I expected. Very easy to attach to 2x8's as described in the easy to follow directions. Anyone with a drill and the aptitude to use it will have no problem using this kit to make your own ramps, at a fraction of the cost of purchasing assembled ramps. Extremely satisfied with the quality of this product.
