well thought out

The ramp tops were well thought out and designed. When I opened the box and saw that the bolts were also included , I was very happy. All I had to do was drill a few holes in the boards and tighten the bolts. WELL WORTH the price!

Does just what I needed

Easy to assemble with a hammer, drill, and wrench. Even for a small middle-aged woman. ;-) Product seems very sturdy, though I've only used it to put the mower in the shed. Will see how it does with a snow blower.

Should have done this years ago!

I've been saying for years that I should get a set of ramp heads... finally did it... cheaper than I thought and a 5 minute project that paid for itself several times over in the first day. If you keep putting it off, you'll wish you hadn't... just do it! :-)

Very easy to use.

I purchased this to help load a 110cc ATV onto a small trailer. It has served its purpose and continues to work well when needed. I am a single mom and my six year old helped with the installation ... so this is very easy to use.

Not worth the trouble for me.

As previously noted these are not worth the trouble if you are going to load heavy duty equipment on a 10 ft. run. The 2x10x10s I purchased had too much flex so I had to reinforce with 1/4 inch angle iron. When all was said and done I wish I had just spent a few extra bucks and bought some real ramps. These will work fine for short ramp applications or light loads and if you already have the lumber.

just what I needed

I mounted these on a pair of 2x10's, and they were just what I needed, at a reasonable price. Includes a rubber mat to afix to the bottom to protect the paint on your tailgate. I laid them on the board and drilled the holes right through the metal plate to make sure the hole were correct (I had tried marking the holes first, and after drilling one, the other mark was already off, so don't waste a hole that doesn't fit!).

Product didn't work as directions said.

The store help couldn't help me as the product didn't fit a 2x board to make the ramp. Had to bring them back

Perfect for getting my riding mower into my shed. Added 3 foot 2x8s and had the perfect shed ramp.

Read information inside before buying wood

Good product. Easy to install. Read directions before you buy wood on your first trip. The bed of my truck is 3 feet from the ground. The recommended length of plank for that height is 11 feet, 7 inches. So Had to make return trip to Lowes to get right length wood. Bought 12 footers and cut in half, then with hindges so would fit in my 6 foot bed without red flags, folding now. MY Lowes does not have the end caps or the anti skit stuff that the company says to get for the planks. Using in winter...

Ramp kit-Average

I would buy this again, BUT I would buy decent hardware. Hardware wasn't long enough and literally had to beat the carriage bolt into the wood to get enough thread for the nut to grab. Ramp end should be designed to slide over a board instead of butt up against one end, would especially help with the carriage bolt giving it something to lock into-Which is what a carriage bolt is supposed to do.

Very easy to use

These ramps are very easy to use. I used them to build ramps for my wife while she's in a wheelchair, and it only took about a half an hour. Very good quality.

Easy Building

After recently building a shed, I needed a way to get my tractor inside. These could not have made it any easier if they tried. Included are two ramp ends, four bolts, four nuts, and if you are using them for a pickup or similar, there are also 4 pins that can be used. Also are two small, self adhering, rubber pads to prevent the ramp ends from scratching what they are against. All that is needed is a drill and 5/16 drill bit.

We purchased this product and have the ramps made, but have not used them yet, Looks like it should work OK for what we want it for.
