Makes a ramp out of wood

It's good for what it is. The only suggestion I could make is a set of bottom plates for the ground and a rubberized undercoating to help it stay in place.

Will NOT slip on a Lowes Premium 2x8, not impressed.

Easy use

Putting a putting a 250 lb chipper shredder in the back of your truck can be back breaking or hernia making. This makes the whole business of putting things in the back of the truck and taking heavy things out much more efficient less painful. Avoid hernia surgeries. Get this aluminum loading ramp setup.

Worked for me

I bought two sets and made two double ramps. Worked for my shed and tractor.

Perfect for the shed!

Recently had a shed installed and it was 14" from the ground to the floor. Would have cost nearly $200-250 to build a solid ramps, but since the zero-turn was the only item needing in and out, seemed liked a steep price to pay! Worked well

Installed them on a 2x10 and used to load a lawn tractor onto my truck. Not one problem

install is a snap drill 2 holes and bolt them up 123 taper or add bottom sections if needed

Good ramp ends

The ramps ends help to get my wheeled machine up into the Chevy pickup. Keep in mind this kit is only for the part that lands on the tailgate. The kit does not include the "bottom" of the ramp, the wedge shape that helps wheels get up over the edge of the lumber.

Had to modify to make it work

The opening that the 2 X 8 slips into was not deep enuf. I had to use my router and mill a bit off the 2 X 8 in order for it to full seat. Surely I am not the only one on the planet to run into this....

Easy to assemble. Hardware included. Handy and lightweight but strong.

Nice but simple ramps...

Great idea for a simple ramp. Attach a board to each aluminum lip with the included bolts and it just works. Used a set to build a quick ramp for a friend with an electric wheel chair so his wife could use them to take him to the Dr office in her minivan.

Great product. Just what I needed.

We had fun trying to find it, but finally did. The helper knew what area, but we could not picture the item. It was fun and all had a good laugh. I had little trouble putting it together and it did just what I wanted it to do.

I have heard complaints about not fitting a 2" 2 x 8. The bolts that are included are long enough, but sometimes they need to be seated with a tap of a hammer because one side of the 2 x 8 has splinters from drilling. If you use 2" ramp material you need bolts that are about 1/2" longer. I would not use treated lumber because they are usually #3 wood (since they are not usually used for weight bearing studs. II am a retired contractor). I would not make the ramps over 8' long. 3.3" inches in len...

Simple fix

Was looking for a ramp to get my snowblower up onto the deck in the winter. Brought this ramp kit and 16ft 2x8 had Lowes cut it in hall and we were done.

RAMP LOADING

The only issue that I have with the kit is that the gap to put the wood in the ramp is not thick enough. But it does work not hard to install at all!! the cost was like $20.00. I only bought it because of the amount of need. Shop around and you can pay less for this item.
