Mid summer seed
Would RecommendI had seed some spots in the yard due to a wind storm uprooting some trees. I was afraid that late July I was not going to get much growth if any. Surprisingly the bare spots have filled in and look good. In the fall I will have to over seed but this provided a good band aid until then. I did use my irrigation system to water twice a day. We have been having a lot of hot dry days as well.

More than a quick repair

Not what I would call tall fescue
I have written a review of this product on the Pennington site panning it from the standpoint that while it grows it does not last. After looking at the remainder of the second bag (purchased two bags at half off in April) and seeing the label claims that this is tall fescue grass I have to strongly disagree. Stuff works
Would RecommendI've got very sandy soil. Trying to patch some bare spots, but wasn't very optimistic. Tried this stuff, and within a week; I had sprouts! Coverage a little splotchy, but I attribute that to several days of HEAVY rain probably washing it around, or even drowning some seed. But all in all - works as advertised.
