So cool

I don’t know about you, but with 3 kids they are ALWAYS leaving the door open. That means, bugs are constantly coming inside. I put this bug zapper in our living room to help eliminate those pesky mosquitoes that sneak in. The bulb fits perfectly and gives off a soft light. It’s gone a great job helping to keep the bugs that sneak inside under control.

Works well and easy to use

Very easy to use. The 9-watt Electric Bug Zapper LED Light Bulb by Black Flag is pretty cool. It can be used indoors or outdoors as seen in the photos. Unfortunately, I think I installed this a little too late in the season to really see results. I live in New York and have had terrible mosquitoes All Summer Long and was really excited to give this a try. I remove the bulb from my porch light and installed this one by simply screwing it in. I was interested in this product being convenient by using a standard A19 bulb socket and integrated with a regular white light. In the first picture you can see this bulb is significantly larger than a regular bulb and may impact where you want to use it. In my case it just barely fit. I chose a light over my garage. Great Product

I live in the country. I've always had a problem keeping knats and other bugs from getting in my house. Since I installed my new bug zapper light bulb. Problem solved.

No bugs

I have 2 lights on my front porch and I replaced 1 light with the new bulb. I see no bugs flying around the new bulb where I still see bugs flying around my old one. Can't wait to buy another

Great idea but lacks on size due to light unit

While the idea is great, get the bugs to fly to the light, its just a light, come on bugs enjoy the light and zap pow, adios bugs. But the light the bulb was installed in on the back porch is enclosed just to the point where the zapper is covered with glass and the led portion sticks out beneath it. The light is adequate, nice led feel and bright enough for a back patio, probably would be great if you ran a few more of these in the mid summer days along a fence line.

So this nifty little bulb zapper promises the convenience and style of a normal light bulb with the features of a bug zapper. On paper, it's awesome. It does look good, and seems rigid. However, the plastic coverings that make it look so nice also prevent many of its would be victims from finding the zapper bits. Innovative Way to Control Annoying Bugs

The Black Flag Bug Zapper LED Light is an innovative product. I like the idea of zapping annoying mosquitos and other types of bugs on my patio, but really didn't want a big and expensive bug zapping device. Great idea with lackluster results

When I saw this bug zapping LED bulb I was THRILLED! Safe for use indoor or out. I have one kid with a bug phobia & thought this was a great idea & could double as a night light. It was inside one night & didn't get anything. We've had it in the garage for a couple of weeks now & think it's zapped 3 of the DOZENS of bugs that has landed on it. Great depending on the application

This bulb is effective for specific uses. First of all, the lighting is great for a LED bulb and even though the orientation is primarily downwards, you get a good radius of light. Excellent Product

This light/zapper is awesome. I put it in the first day. The light is very bright and the zapper works great. When you flick the switch twice it just goes to zapper and that is a little purple light and it's beautiful plus it works wonderful. Easy to use

Can be used indoors and outdoors. Simply screw it in a 110V light socket. Can be used with or without lighting the LED light. I have used it outdoors for approximately 1 week and have only zapped a few tiny bugs/gnats - of course the temperature is becoming much cooler due to the time of year. The real test will be next summer during warmer weather.

Good concept but didn't fit in our light fixture

This is a great bulb that does the job of killing bugs, but it is bigger than a normal bulb and didn't fit in our light fixture by our front door, where we always get the most bugs. We moved it to our backyard and it does work. We can hear the zaps of the bugs every now and then. It does seem to attract them and do its job.

Good Combination

This is combination of an outdoor LED light and a ultraviolet bug light. It screws into any normal outlet. However, it is roughly 6 inches long and may be too tall for some fixtures. I can't comment on the effectiveness of the bug attraction or its ability to remove bugs from the environment as the summer and bug activity is pretty much over. The capture screen is readily available by unscrewing the top part of the bulb and includes a cleaning brush.

Easy to use

Easy to use screw into light socket and presto it's on. Turn on switch and both zapper and LED light turn on turn switch off and back on and only zapper turns on. First time I opened it up to clean ( cleaning brush inside unit) it was a little difficult I was afraid to break it but after that it opened easily. I have it in a metal storage building that was full of mosquitoes I was always getting bit but it solved the problem no more mosquitoes.

Looks nice works great!

I wanted to try this light because of the mess bugs made around the light on my front porch. So I cleaned everything and installed the light. I like the feature that you can switch off the light and leave the bug zapper on for sitting on the porch in the evening. It lights up the porch nicely. I’m very impressed with this product. It’s very affordable in its purchase cost and it’s usage costs. We feed our pet cat in our out building. We were covered up with flys, gnats and stink bugs.
