Would RecommendI was hesitant but desperate. I could not open my door without being swarmed by various flying bugs. I have two outside lights, one over the patio and one just outside the door. If you have your basic flood light, you will need an extender so I could only put one up the first night. I was amazed at the immediate results. Our backdoor was a bit far, and there was just a few aphid like bugs. So I went to the hardware store, bought a socket extender, and put the second one in the flood light. ...
Ineffective
Our house has a few various moths, mosquitoes, flies, and gnats flitting around. A month ago we deployed this Black Flag Bug Zapper in the middle of our house. So far we have found corpses of four insects. We never hear the sound of a bug being electrocuted. In my opinion, we have wasted our money.
Hasn't worked yet...
Would Not RecommendWe bought this bulb a few weeks ago and, so far, it hasn't killed anything at all. I'm not impressed by this item.
Big zappernbulb
Would RecommendInteresting two-mode bulb: regular light and bug zapper. We turn the zapper on at night for any insect that may have snuck in, like mosquitoes, in particular. It is wide at the base, therefore, it will not fit into all outlets. Good product, nonetheless

Waste of money
Would Not RecommendWe bought 2, but never saw one bug get zapped. The only thing good about it is the brightness of the light. I paid almost $20 for a light I could get for much, much less. Definitely did not do what it was supposed to do.
Works as expected... light not as bright as I hope
The zapper portion works well to deter flying insects, but the light portion of this is not as strong in Lumens as I would hope.
Gnats get vaporized and that's a good thing
Would RecommendBought this little Bug zapper and had my doubts, but was desperate. WOW! What a great surprise, it really works. I mounted it on a small lamp base and placed it on my kitchen counter. The blue light also serves as a night light and looks good. I will recommend this to friends here in the Napa wine country.
Love this light
Would RecommendBought one as a test to see how it works. Between the white light and built in zapper, didn't have near the bug problem of years before so I bought 2 more to put at other entrances.
Best out door light
Would RecommendBeen out here in Florida for a year now and needed to cut bugs down at night. When you walk in the door there’s a lot flying around our light so why not take them out! Best idea ever.

Would RecommendI bought this to keep mosquitoes away, this thing did the trick! I went back for to more. Also it has great lighting.
