Would Not RecommendItem has 2 microswitches that depress to prevent power applied without safety cover installed. Cover only depresses one switch. To verify this was problem first audible did not hear both switches click when installed cover. Next removed cover put zip tie around base and pushed it down depressing both switches. Applied power and works. Item is defective cover does not engage switches fully.

Would Not RecommendThe light is okay. I installed it on our can ceiling lighting on our deck. I saw the blue "zap" light also. The blue "zap" lighting is farther up and the LED light bulb is farther down. The insects don't travel up the can light to get to the "zap" point and merely fly around the LED non-lethal light. This is NOT effective for bugs and is a Chinese gimmick! AVOID!

Just a blue light and nothing else
Would Not RecommendI have had this a week. Over that week we have been over-run by flies. I have swatted dozens using nothing more high-tech than a rolled up newspaper. The sticky traps have collected so many flies I can't count them. This pathetic little device has killed zero flies. All it seems to be is a very dim blue light or a dim white light depending on how often you flick the power switch on and off. Waste of time and money!
