[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Insect Killer and LED is an interesting product. You can screw in the light bulb like normal and the light should work. There is a little blue light towards the base of it that is used to attract the insects but it is not bothersome. Also it does make a little noise sometimes when it gets one of the insects its kind of funny.

SCAM!!!

Got this thinking that I was getting a bug zapper. Not what I got at all. It's just two different lights in one. The blue/purple light isn't a fluorescent bulb like most bug zapper light bulbs. Its led instead. It in no way has the recommend uv light to actually attract any kind of bugs at all. Even if a bug managed to get inside. It doesn't have enough power to kill them. Plus the removable grill is a pain and it has the included cleaning brush inside? I would avoid this product at all cost. Po...

Great Indoor Bug Attractor

Purchase a new lamp just so I could put this bulb in it to try to get rid of gnats constantly bugging me in my home office. So now I'm out the cost of the lamp AND this garbage bulb! I had it installed for several days with a shade on the lamp and NOTHING. Gnats seemed even more active with it on. Decided maybe the shade was interfering with how it worked so took the shade off so the bugs could easily get to the UV light. Again the opposite effect - more bugs and more active! This thing is...

I really really wanted to love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have another PIC product (PIC 2-in-1 Insect Zapper) that we really like and I hoped this would be at least as effective, but it was not. I operated the two at the same time in the same space, and this bulb only captured a fraction of insects. With that said, it does work, just not as effectively as the PIC Zapper.

light burned out in 3 weeks

the bottom bulb burned out in 3 weeks taking back for replacement see if the next one last longer than 3 weeks

Really works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mosquitoes in Texas are the absolute worst. And I’m not a fan of wearing lots of bug spray, so I tried this bulb to see if it would help. Definitely does! We have it hooked up outside on our little deck, definitely helps keeps the bugs at bay!

Use for those fruit flies...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I haven't had great luck with this light outdoors. Maybe one bulb isn't powerful enough for an outdoor sitting area. So I took it inside to my kitchen where I am always battling fruit flies bc I have a compost bin. It has only been a few days but so far so good.

This is a great item that doesn't take up any extra space - no need for a large, bulky zapper! You can use this indoors or outdoors depending on where your mosquito problem is. You can use it just as a light, just as a zapper, or both giving you plenty of options. Great product to help rid your area of mosquitoes!

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. The light itself gives off a really nice glow, great ambience for a porch in the evening. The bug zapper seems to work well! Very cool to have a product that will help control the bugs and also offer nice lighting for summer evenings.

Awesome mosquito zapper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great to have to zap those pesky mosquitoes and gnats that are abundant where I live. I decided to put it on my front porch since I do go outside to smoke quite a few times at night. It not only zaps those bugs, but it is also a very well lit light for my front porch. My kids think it's cool so that's also a plus.
