Glad I got the "Smart" version

This timer can either be used locally with Bluetooth to your phone, or if you buy the b-hyve hub, you are able to control the sprinkler / schedule from anywhere. 4 port hose switch

The valves on 2 ports seemed to not opened completely, water pressure dropped on 2 and 3 while staying consistent on 1 and 4. I preferred the mechanical version i bought last year to this fully electronic.

Expensive but useful

So far i like it. Like the ability to control it with my phone although u do need to be somewhat close for the bluetooth to work. Its a step up from my last one that i had to set up and change by the unit. Did have a brief issue where i needed to remove the battery bc the unit froze up but has worked before and after that occurrence.

Just awesome

I have two of these Orbit Smart timers (one single port and one 4 port) and I have been using them for YEARS with no issues. When I bought the Orbit hub and connected them to my WiFi, my watering game went to a new level. I can go out to my front garden (75 feet away from my Orbit) and flip on the water line with my phone so I can check for leaks in my irrigation lines - no more running back and forth to the main unit. I have each line watering different parts of the garden at staggered interval...

GREAT PRODUCT

I was kind of skeptical about this timer after getting it home and programming it with the Bluetooth connection. It worked great. I went back and bought another one then I also bought the hub that way I could control it through Wi-Fi and the app for it is fantastic and so easy to use, you can manually water at any time or you can set up for programs .

Worked well...until it didn't

I purchased this timer (along with the hub for wifi access) for one of my properties and loved it so much that I purchased a second one for another property. I liked the ability to remotely adjust the watering schedule and to be notified when watering has taken place. Well it's been 55 days since the purchase and it no longer works, it will not turn off. The device as well as the app say that it's off but water keeps flowing. It's a very expensive timer that is a complete waste of money.

Plastic junk

The connectors are very thin pieces of plastic. Our water pressure is set to 60psi and it only lasted about 2 months before the plastic snapped and the connector blew off. Do not recommend unless you want to wake up to a flooded backyard

Difficult at Best

Connectivity is difficult. Once you finally get it set up, it is reasonably okay, but it loses the signal frequently. There are too many other viable options to have to fight through the problems with this one.

Handy little timers

These work great. You need to be fairly close for the Bluetooth connection to work, but once set, you don’t need to communicate very often. I use the button to switch from auto to manual mode
