Purchased this unit and the wifi add on. Set unit up, went on vacation for 7 days, unit stopped working after only 3 days. Lost several plants and the lawn is now brown. I exchanged the unit for another one and it failed after only 1 day. You could hear the unit opening the valve inside however no water would come out while using the manual button on the unit. Great Smart Water Timer

Orbit's B-Hyve Smart Water timer works great out of the box. It needs 2 AA batteries to be powered and can be programmed via the screen or via Bluetooth via your smartphone. It is Wi-Fi capable but needs the Orbit 21027 B-Hyve Gen 2 Wi-Fi Hub to bridge the Bluetooth to Wi-fi gap. Also additional smart watering programs are expanded if using the hub with the Timer. Liked it enough to buy a second one!

Love that you can turn on/off from a distance—I can move the sprinkler then turn it on without having to walk back to the spigot. And if I didn’t get it quite right, turn it off, move the sprinkler and turn back on without having to walk back and forth. Programming was simple although there is a bit of a learning curve with all of the automatic sprinklers (I’ve used hunter, orbit and rain bird systems as well). Once you learn one the others are easy. I highly recommend!

This 4-port hose time is a winner! No leaks. Should this change, I'll update my review. But let's hope it doesn't come to that. Great days in the morning! This is the 2nd one weve bought both stopped working, the 2nd one only lasted a few weeks

Excellent product

I finally decided to spend the money on this timer. I wish I had done it sooner! It is so nice to set a schedule (from my phone, even) and forget it. I would forget to water so my plants kept wilting. I am only using 3 zones right now, but I'm sure I can find a use for the 4th zone soon. And this thing only uses 2 AA batteries to power it.

Great Product, Very Easy to Program!!

Cheaply made

I purchased this unit to water 4 zones in my garden. I have a fertilizer unit I connect to the unit before the hose. The connections on this unit are plastic and after 3 times of switching the hose it stripped and that zone is now unusable. for the price the unit should last more than one month and the sections that connect to the hoses should be brass and not cheap plastic that warps and no longer threads.
