What Customers Are Saying
The product effectively captures a significant amount of dust and debris, reducing the need for frequent filter cleaning. However, some users report issues with the flimsy plastic latches, the bucket collapsing or becoming unstable, and very fine dust still passing through to the vacuum. Assembly and setup can also be tricky. While the product works well for many, the design and build quality concerns should be carefully considered.

Would RecommendWas excited to see Lowes start to carry an Oneida product. I've been eyeing their products for a long time and welcomed the convenience of going to my local Lowes to purchase. I do a lot of woodworking and spend lots of times cleaning shop vac filters that quickly load with saw dust so this product will mostly eliminate that need, which is great. When I got the product home, I had to call customer service to request some small parts that were missing from the box. They were great and immedia...

Shop vac filter saver.
Would RecommendIts very nice to work clean, it keeps the spread of dust down, saves time and makes you look better. Unfortunately hooking a shop vac to a miter box or a table saw will quickly leave you with a plugged up filter. I spend hundreds a year on filters and anything to save money on that is worth a look. This system connects to the vacuum and the 5 gallon bucket really tight. I was able to run a test with a handful of debris from the shop vac and I would say it caught 90% of the debris or more. ...

Works great.

Cute idea, but not practical
Would Not RecommendYes, it (sorta) fits a 5 gallon bucket, but is so loose that it doesn't stay on. Even under vacuum pressure if you move the bucket or hose slightly, the top comes loose.

Doesn’t work very well. See pics.
Would Not RecommendAfter ripping one 8’ x 3/4” poplar board and about 20 cross cuts of 11/32” plywood on a table saw, more than half of the dust made it into the vacuum and the filter is already getting clogged. Installed exactly according to instructions. Will be returning ASAP. Don’t buy this if you were planning to save yourself from cleaning filters caked with sawdust. In the third pic, all of the dust on the floor came out of the filter when I set the top down.
Hello! We're so sorry to hear that you aren't happy with your Dust Deputy Low-Pro. From your description, it definitely isn't performing ...

Works Great Fits Bucket Well
Would RecommendSeems to remove all the dust from my router table before it gets to the shop vac. Fits the Lowes bucket perfectly.

Nice addition to my shop
Would RecommendThe Dust deputy dust seperator from Onidea worked better than expected. It did reqiire some assembly but was simple enough. The plastic clips that attach to a 5 gallon bucket seemed a little weak making me wonder about future durability. Overall I was pleased with the performance and resulting accumulation of various size dust and small debris in the bucket. It definitely extends the life of filters and makes emptying much easier. It fits most 5 gallon buckets and has fittings to accommodate 2....
Makes cleanup so much easier
Would RecommendThis is a very neat tool. It comes complete with everthing needed to connect to vacum. Bucket clips were easy to attach and use. But, the instructions for the clips did not help. The illustrations lack enough info to ensure I was doing it correctly. Just attach clips with washer and screw. While attaching top to bucket, flex the clips out slightly and push down onto bucket. With a new filter on my vacum I did notice the Dust Deputy created a treamendous amount of vacum power. Enough to crush a b...
The vac accessory you never knew you needed!
Would RecommendI've seen these in the past and always thought ehhhhh why do I need that. Wow, this thing is incredible!!!! I use it to vac up sawdust from my table saw, miter saw and all the 3d printing chunks in my basement. It keeps 90% of it out of the wetvac and is so easy to empty. When you assemble it, use a bucket where the top edge isn't SUPER thick and it will make it easier to remove. Then you can just pull the tabs over and take the bucket out without unscrewing. Also avoid sucking up plastic ...
Best cyclone pre-filter ever.
Would RecommendThis works, my shop vac filter has very little dust on it. It will save me hundreds in new filters.

GOOD, BUT NOT GREAT
Would RecommendI have several Oneida Vortex-style dust separators and purchased this one for an application where I was doing a lot of sanding and needed to keep the shop-vac's filters from getting clogged. The other vortex style separators I have are too tall to fit in the available space, so I purchased the Low-Pro. While it does collect a lot of dust that would otherwise clog the shop-vac, it isn't as effective as the taller units.

Great product!
Would RecommendThe Oneida Air Systems Dust Deputy Low-Pro Plus is a great tool. This product is designed to extend the life of your wet/dry vacuum filters. In the box is everything you need except a bucket and Philips screwdriver. The Dust Deputy supports buckets with a 12" OD and 11-1/2" ID opening. Compatible with hoses and attachments that have an outside diameter of 2-1/2". Adapters are sold separately for compatibility with other-size hoses. The directions are well illustrated and easy to read. Additional...
Cost effective dust separator
Would RecommendThe Dust Deputy Low-Pro Plus Dust Separator Kit is a cost effective solution to plugged filters. The separator attaches to a standard 5 gallon bucket (not included) and is connected inline with a wet/dry vacuum using the supplied 3 foot, 2.5 inch hose. The manufacturer claims the separator captures 99.9% of dust. I tested the product on drywall dust and the separator did capture the majority of the dust. The product does require a little assembly before use, but only takes a couple of minutes wi...
Solve all your dust issues with one product
Would RecommendThe Dust Deputy Low-Pro arrived in a very nice package. The instructions were short and straight to the point. Assembly was a breeze takes about 10 minutes. It is very well built and works exactly as advertised.
Dust Deputy Low-Pro, best separator for your shop
Would RecommendThe Oneida Dust Deputy Low-Pro is the best for your shop. Keeps the dust in your bucket, not in your shop vac. This is the second one I bought in 3 days, one for the garage, one for my workroom. Read the reviews online and watch youtube, this is the one to purchase. Excellent Customer Service, had a minor issue, was resolved quickly, they stand behind their products. I bought a competitors product to try (highly discounted 85%) read the reviews and Youtube, returned product, next day, then purc...
Impressive little cyclone
Would RecommendI received my product. Packaging was as expected and assembly was very very simple. The cyclone was hooked up to my shop vac and it was used to clear the sawdust from my lathe. Photos of the shop vac before using the cyclone show it empty. After using it, the sawdust stayed in the 5 gallon bucket and none got to the shop vac. It is a great solution for a small shop. If you want to use it as a small dust collector, the only downside is having to listen to to shop vac run. It works as advert...
