Great Portable Dust Collection system

This is a decent dust collector system for portable/jobsite use. I've have a larger version of this set-up that I use at my home workshop and thought this would be interesting to try out on a basement finish that I did during the winter. Plenty of space to set up inside out of the cold but I worried about the dust I'd generate ripping/cutting MDF for the custom build-ins the client wanted so I figured I'd give it a shot. Will fit most round buckets great with Lowe’s blue

It works great pumped water out just great pump about 45 gallons

Overfilling the bucket will force chips into vac.

It sure made short work of picking up the walnut chips from the grass (42 gallon of chips).

I bought this very poor designed so called dust collector it does not work it plugs all the time had more in the vacuum than the bucket if I could give this a lower rating I would do not waste your money

Effective Dust Collection

Does not fit every 5 gallon bucket. Be prepared to purchase a big box store bucket. Otherwise, seems very effective in collecting shop dust rather than filling the vacuum bag.

Great dust collector

Fantastic upgrade from the original.

Low profile and it works really well.

I really like the low profile and it works as well as the tall cyclone. I like that it snaps onto the bucket to create a positive seal. The tall one is wobbily and feels weak when pulling on the hose, not so with this one.

This helps with sanding dust.

this thing works. It kept the sanding dust from my belt sander from clogging my filter before I was done sanding.

The item was shipped relatively fast. I like that Lowe's carries these now. Too bad near me store didn't have it. The separator works well. I'm not sure on the durability of the clips. I really hope they do last long time. I'm happy to say, Oneida listened to people's complaints online and they included those remarks in their instructions shipped with this item It's a good sign they care. Garbage

Dust separator gets easily clogged with small chunks of wood that get sucked up by the vacuum. Not a total loss, I was able to reuse the 90 degree fitting on my replacement Dust separator.

Not worth the money!

This thing is pretty cumbersome to use, the bucket always falls sideways so you have to strap it to something. Very cheaply designed. I had to cut and install the gasket myself. it's not just a bucket lid that snaps on, there are only two snaps and you could really use at least four to secure it to the bucket. there are much better products on the market in the same ballpark of price.
